ख्रिस्त में प्रिय भाइयो और बहनो,

हम सभी इस सच्चाई से भली-भाँति परिचित हैं कि हमारे जीवन के प्रत्येक क्षेत्र में चयन की प्रक्रिया होती है। यह चयन इसलिए आवश्यक होता है क्योंकि हमारे पास कई विकल्प होते हैं। जीवन में हम उन्हीं विकल्पों को चुनते हैं, जो हमें अच्छा, सही और हमारे कल्याण के लिए उपयोगी लगता है।

आज के सुसमाचार में, प्रभु येसु ईश्वर के राज्य की तुलना एक मछली पकड़ने के जाल से करते हैं, जिसे समुद्र में फेंका जाता है और वह हर प्रकार की मछलियों को एकत्र करता है। यह तुलना ईश्वर के राज्य की समावेशी प्रकृति का प्रतीक है, जो बताता है कि सभी लोग परमेश्वर के राज्य की महिमा में सहभागी बनने के लिए बुलाए गए हैं। हालांकि, प्रभु येसु आगे चयन की प्रक्रिया के महत्वपूर्ण तत्व पर बल देते हैं, जैसे कि बड़ी संख्या में मछलियों को पकड़ने के बाद उनमें से अच्छी और खराब मछलियों को अलग किया जाता है। इसी प्रकार, ईश्वर के राज्य में भी धर्मी और अधर्मी अलग किए जाएँगे, और अधर्मियों को जलती हुई भट्टी में डाल दिया जाएगा जो उनकी अधर्म का परिणाम है।

यह हमें हमारे वर्तमान जीवन में अपने कर्मों के प्रति सचेत रहने की याद दिलाता है क्योंकि हमें हमारे कार्यों के अनुसार न्याय मिलेगा। ईश्वर का राज्य सभी के लिए खुला है, लेकिन इसका अर्थ यह नहीं है कि इसे कोई भी बिना धार्मिक जीवन जीए आसानी से प्राप्त कर सकता है। इसलिए, पृथ्वी पर किए गए हमारे अच्छे कार्य हमें अनंत दंड और निंदा से बचा सकते हैं।

पहले पाठ में, हम देखते हैं कि मूसा ने ईश्वर के निर्देशों का पालन करते हुए निवास-मण्डप का निर्माण किया, और ईश्वर की महिमा ने इसे भर दिया। यह हमें सिखाता है कि जब हम ईश्वर की इच्छा का पालन करते हैं, तो उनकी उपस्थिति हमारे जीवन को आलोकित करती है और हमें धर्मी मार्ग पर चलने की प्रेरणा देती है।

संत इग्नाटियस ऑफ लोयोला, जिनका आज हम स्मरणोत्सव मना रहे हैं, एक ऐसे व्यक्ति थे जिन्होंने अपने जीवन को ईश्वर की सेवा के लिए समर्पित कर दिया। उन्होंने अपने आध्यात्मिक अभ्यासों के माध्यम से हमें सिखाया कि ईश्वर की इच्छा को पहचानना और उसका पालन करना ही सच्चा धार्मिक जीवन है।

आज के पाठ हमें तीन महत्वपूर्ण शिक्षाएँ देते हैं:

1. ईश्वर का राज्य सभी के लिए खुला है, लेकिन इसे पाने के लिए धार्मिक जीवन जीना आवश्यक है।
2. हमारे कर्मों के आधार पर हमारा न्याय होगा, इसलिए हमें अपने कार्यों के प्रति सचेत रहना चाहिए।
3. ईश्वर की इच्छा का पालन करने से हम उनके राज्य में धर्मी के रूप में चुने जाएँगे।

आइए, हम प्रभु से प्रार्थना करें कि वे हमें संत इग्नाटियस के समान धार्मिक जीवन जीने और उनके राज्य के योग्य बनने की कृपा प्रदान करें। आमेन।

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,

We are all very well aware of the fact that in every aspect of our life there is a process of selection. This selection comes to the forefront because there are various possibilities. In all our life situations, we select those options which we feel are good, right, and useful for our well-being.

In today’s gospel, Jesus compares the Kingdom of God to a fishing net thrown into the sea, which gathers all kinds of fish into it. This comparison symbolizes the all-inclusive nature of the Kingdom of God—that all people are destined to partake in the glory of God’s Kingdom. However, Jesus further emphasizes the essential element of the selection process in the kingdom, just as it is done after a great catch of fish. By this, Jesus warns that just as the good fish are separated from the bad fish, so also the righteous will be separated from the wicked, and the wicked will be punished with a burning furnace.

It is a reminder for us to be aware of our actions in the present life because all of us will be judged according to our actions on earth. The Kingdom of God is open to all. It does not mean that anyone can easily attain it without striving for it with righteous living. Thus, the good we do on earth can save us from eternal punishment and condemnation.

In the first reading, we see that Moses followed God’s instructions in building the tabernacle, and God’s glory filled it. This teaches us that when we obey God’s will, His presence illuminates our lives and inspires us to walk the path of righteousness.

St. Ignatius of Loyola, whom we commemorate today, was a man who dedicated his life to God’s service. Through his spiritual exercises, he taught us that recognizing and following God’s will is the essence of a righteous life.

Today’s readings teach us three important lessons:

1. The Kingdom of God is open to all, but it requires a righteous life to attain it.
2. We will be judged based on our actions, so we must be mindful of our deeds.
3. Obeying God’s will ensures that we are chosen as righteous in His Kingdom.

Let us pray that God grants us the grace to live a righteous life like St. Ignatius and become worthy of His Kingdom. Amen.
