प्रिय भाइयों और बहनों, आज का वचन हमें दो महत्वपूर्ण बातों की याद दिलाता है—एकता और नया जन्म। आज के पहले पाठ में हम देखते हैं कि प्रारंभिक ख्रीस्तीय समुदाय एक मन और एक आत्मा होकर जी रहा था। उनके पास जो कुछ था, वे उसे अपने निजी स्वार्थ के लिए नहीं रखते थे, बल्कि जरूरतमंदों के साथ बांटते थे। वे प्रेम और भाईचारे में जीते थे, और यही उनके विश्वास की सच्ची गवाही थी।

आज, हम अपने जीवन की ओर देखें—क्या हम भी ऐसे ही प्रेम और एकता में जी रहे हैं? या फिर हम अपने स्वार्थ और इच्छाओं में उलझे हुए हैं? कलीसिया केवल एक इमारत नहीं है, बल्कि यह एक जीवित समुदाय है, जिसमें हम सभी एक परिवार की तरह हैं। जब हम दूसरों की जरूरतों को अपनी जरूरतों से ऊपर रखते हैं, तब हम सच्चे ख्रीस्तीय बनते हैं।

आज के सुसमाचार में हम सुनते हैं कि येसु निकोदिमस से कहते हैं, “तुम्हें नया जन्म लेना होगा।” नया जन्म केवल शारीरिक नहीं, बल्कि आत्मा का जन्म है। इसका अर्थ है कि हमें अपने पुराने पापमय जीवन को छोड़कर आत्मा के अनुसार जीना है। जब हम अपने अभिमान, स्वार्थ और ईर्ष्या को छोड़कर विनम्रता और प्रेम में जीते हैं, तब हमारा सच्चा नया जन्म होता है।

येसु हमें एक नए जीवन को जीने के लिए बुला रहे हैं—एक ऐसा जीवन जो प्रेम, सेवा और सत्य में जिया जाए। जब हम सच्चाई में जीते हैं, जब हम अपने जीवन को प्रकाश में लाते हैं, तब हम ईश्वर के करीब आते हैं। तो आइये आज हम यह संकल्प लें कि हम एकता में जीएं, एक-दूसरे की जरूरतों को समझें। जब हम ऐसा करेंगे, तब हम सच्चे ख्रीस्तीय कहलाएंगे और हमारे जीवन से प्रभु की महिमा प्रकट होगी।

Dear brothers and sisters, today’s word reminds us of two important things—unity and new birth. In the first reading today, we see that the early Christian community lived as one heart and one soul. Whatever they had, they did not keep for their own selfish gain, but shared it with those in need. They lived in love and brotherhood, and this was the true testimony of their faith.

Today, let us look at our own lives—are we living in love and unity like them? Or are we tangled in our own selfish desires and wants? The Church is not just a building, but a living community in which we are all like a family. When we put the needs of others above our own, we become true Christians.

In today’s Gospel, we hear Jesus tell Nicodemus, “You must be born again.” This new birth is not just physical, but spiritual. It means we must leave behind our old sinful life and live according to the Spirit. When we let go of pride, selfishness, and envy, and live in humility and love, our true new birth happens.

Jesus is calling us to live a new life—a life that is lived in love, service, and truth. When we live in truth, when we bring our lives into the light, we draw closer to God. So, today let us make the commitment to live in unity and understand each other’s needs. When we do so, we will be called true Christians, and the glory of the Lord will be manifested in our lives.
