प्रिय भाइयों और बहनों, आज का सुसमाचार हमें निकुदेमुस की मुलाकात के माध्यम से एक गहरी सच्चाई सिखाता है— “नए जन्म” की आवश्यकता। निकुदेमुस एक धार्मिक गुरु था, लेकिन वह येसु के पास रात में आया। वह रात में ही क्यों आया? क्योंकि उसके मन में सवाल थे, पर वह लोगों से डरता था। आज भी हम में से कितने लोग सत्य की खोज में हैं, लेकिन समाज, परिवार, या अपनी खुद की झिझक के कारण आगे नहीं बढ़ पाते।

येसु ने निकुदेमुस से कहा, “जब तक कोई दुबारा जन्म न ले, तब तक वह स्वर्ग का राज्य नहीं देख सकता।” यह नया जन्म क्या है? यह आत्मा के द्वारा रूपांतरण है—एक ऐसा परिवर्तन जो हमारे जीवन को अंदर से बाहर तक नया बना देता है। हम अपने जीवन में कितनी ही बार बाहरी दिखावे में उलझे रहते हैं—अच्छे कपड़े, प्रतिष्ठा, समाज में सम्मान। लेकिन क्या हम अपने अंदरूनी जीवन को भी नया बना रहे हैं? क्या हम सच में प्रेम, क्षमा और नम्रता से भरपूर हैं?

जरा सोचिए, जब एक मोबाइल फोन धीमा हो जाता है, तो हम उसे रिस्टार्ट करते हैं ताकि वह नया जैसा हो जाए। वैसे ही, हमें भी आत्मा में एक नया आरंभ चाहिए। यह नया जन्म तब होता है जब हम ईश्वर को अपने जीवन का केंद्र बना लेते हैं, अपनी पुरानी बुरी आदतों को छोड़ देते हैं और पवित्र आत्मा के मार्गदर्शन में चलते हैं।

आज प्रभु हमें बुला रहे हैं—क्या हम अपने जीवन में इस नए जन्म को अपनाने के लिए तैयार हैं? प्रभु हमें अनुग्रह दें कि हम सिर्फ बाहरी नहीं, बल्कि अंदर से भी पूरी तरह बदलें और उनके प्रेम में जीएं।

Dear brothers and sisters, today’s Gospel teaches us a deep truth through Nicodemus’ encounter with Jesus—the necessity of being “born again.” Nicodemus was a religious leader, yet he came to Jesus at night. Why did he come at night? Because he had questions in his heart but was afraid of people. Even today, many of us seek the truth but hesitate to take a step forward due to societal pressure, family expectations, or our own fears.

Jesus said to Nicodemus, “Unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” What is this new birth? It is a transformation through the Spirit—a change that renews us from the inside out. So often, we get caught up in external appearances—good clothes, social status, and recognition. But are we renewing our inner lives? Are we truly filled with love, forgiveness, and humility?

Think about it—when a mobile phone slows down, we restart it to make it function like new again. In the same way, we need a fresh start in the Spirit. This new birth happens when we make God the center of our lives, let go of our old sinful habits, and walk under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Today, the Lord is calling us—are we ready to embrace this new birth in our lives? May the Lord grant us His grace so that we are not only transformed externally but are renewed completely from within and live in His love.
