प्रिय भाइयों और बहनों, प्रभु येसु के पुनरुत्थान के इस पावन पर्व पर आप सभी को ईस्टर की बहुत-बहुत शुभकामनाएँ। आज का दिन हमारे विश्वास का मूल है। आज हम पूरे विश्वास और आनंद से यह घोषणा करते हैं — “प्रभु जी उठे हैं, सचमुच जी उठे हैं।” यह केवल एक वाक्य नहीं, बल्कि एक सच्चाई है जो हमारे जीवन को बदल देती है।

सुसमाचार में हमने सुना कि जब मरियम मगदलेन और अन्य शिष्य कब्र पर पहुँचे, तो उन्होंने देखा कि पत्थर हटा हुआ है और कब्र खाली है। वे घबरा गए, परेशान हुए। पर धीरे-धीरे उन्हें यह सच्चाई समझ में आई — कि प्रभु येसु सचमुच जी उठे हैं। यह खाली कब्र डर की नहीं, बल्कि आशा की निशानी है। यह दिखाती है कि मृत्यु अब अंत नहीं रही, बल्कि एक नए जीवन की शुरुआत है।

पहले पाठ में संत पेत्रुस इस सच्चाई की गवाही देते हैं। वे कहते हैं — हम वो लोग हैं जिन्होंने पुनर्जीवित येसु को देखा, उसके साथ खाया और पिया, और अब वही येसु हमें जीवन का संदेश देकर भेजता है, ताकि हम भी दूसरों को बताएँ कि हर एक को उसके नाम में पापों की क्षमा मिल सकती है।

संत पौलुस हमें याद दिलाते हैं कि अगर हम सच में मसीह के साथ जी उठे हैं, तो हमें ऊपर की बातों की खोज करनी चाहिए — यानी ईश्वर की इच्छा के अनुसार जीना चाहिए। अब हमारा जीवन केवल सांसारिक चीजों में न उलझे, बल्कि मसीह में छिपा रहे, जो हमारा सच्चा जीवन है।

भाइयो और बहनो, ईस्टर का अर्थ है — नया जीवन। हमें भी अपने अंदर से पुरानी आदतों, पापों, निराशा और भय से बाहर आकर पुनर्जीवित होना है। आज प्रभु हमसे यही कहते हैं — “डरो मत, मैं जीवित हूँ, और मैं तुम्हारे साथ हूँ।” इस ईस्टर पर हम यह प्रार्थना करें कि हम भी प्रेम, क्षमा, और विश्वास में प्रभु की तरह जी उठें, और हमारे जीवन से लोग यह महसूस करें कि हम एक जीते-जागते प्रभु के साक्षी हैं।

On this holy feast of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus, I extend to you all my heartfelt Easter wishes. Today is the foundation of our faith. With full conviction and joy, we proclaim: “The Lord is risen, truly He is risen!” This is not just a phrase — it is a truth that transforms our lives.

In the Gospel, we heard how Mary Magdalene and the other disciples went to the tomb and found the stone rolled away and the tomb empty. They were afraid and confused. But gradually, they came to understand the truth — that Jesus had truly risen from the dead. This empty tomb is not a sign of fear, but of hope. It shows us that death is no longer the end, but the beginning of a new life.

In the first reading, St. Peter gives witness to this truth. He says, “We are the ones who saw the risen Jesus, ate and drank with Him.” And now, this same Jesus sends us out with a message of life, to tell everyone that through His name, forgiveness of sins is offered to all.

St. Paul reminds us that if we have truly risen with Christ, we must seek the things that are above — in other words, we must live according to God’s will. Our lives should not be entangled in worldly matters, but hidden in Christ, who is our true life.

Dear brothers and sisters, Easter means new life. We, too, must rise again — leaving behind our old habits, sins, despair, and fears. Today, the Lord says to us: “Do not be afraid, I am alive, and I am with you.” Let us pray this Easter that we too may rise with Christ — in love, forgiveness, and faith — so that through our lives, people may experience the living, Lord.
