“मसीह की पहचान”
उपदेशक 3:1-11 लूका 9:18-22
हम जानते हैं कि समय हमारे जीवन में अनेक प्रकार की परिस्थितियाँ लेकर आता है। उनमें से कुछ सकारात्मक, सुखद और रचनात्मक होती हैं, जो हमें मजबूत बनाती हैं, जबकि कुछ नकारात्मक, अप्रिय और कठिन होती हैं, जो हमें हमारी सीमाओं का अनुभव कराती हैं। हममें से अधिकांश लोग इस बात से सहमत होंगे कि वास्तविक जीवन में अच्छाई का पक्ष अधिक होता है।
समय निरंतर बीतता रहता है। हम अपने चारों ओर परिवर्तन और क्षय को देखते हैं। समय हमें यह भी याद दिलाता है कि हम इस संसार में थोड़े समय के लिए हैं और हम उन लोगों की चाह रखते हैं जो हमें महत्व देते हैं। आज का पहला पाठ भी यही सिखाता है कि समय हमें यह एहसास कराता है कि परमेश्वर के सामने हम कितने छोटे और निर्भर हैं। यही अनुभव हमें प्रार्थना करने के लिए प्रेरित करता है।
समय पर हमारा कोई अधिकार नहीं है, किन्तु हम अपने समय का उपयोग अनन्त जीवन प्राप्त करने के लिए कर सकते हैं। इसके लिए भी परमेश्वर ने एक उचित समय निर्धारित किया है। सुसमाचार में भी हम यीशु के अस्वीकार किए जाने के समय के बारे में सुनते हैं। उन्हें पुरनियों, महायाजकों और शास्त्रियों द्वारा अस्वीकार किया जाएगा, वे उन्हें मृत्यु के हवाले करेंगे, परन्तु वे संसार के उद्धार के लिए अपना जीवन अर्पित करेंगे और तीसरे दिन पुनर्जीवित होंगे।
आज के दोनों पाठ हमें आमंत्रित करते हैं कि हम यीशु के प्रत्येक वचन पर विश्वास करें और अपने विश्वास को और अधिक दृढ़ बनाएं, ताकि एक दिन हम विश्वासयोग्य होकर प्रभु यीशु के सम्मुख खड़े हो सकें।
“Identity of Christ”
We know that time brings different situations into our lives. Half of them are positive, pleasant, and constructive, making us stronger, while the other half are negative, unpleasant, and challenging, making us aware of our weakness. Most of us would agree that in real life the good outweighs the bad.
Speaking of time, we speak of something that constantly passes. We see change and decay all around us, and we are reminded that our life on earth is only for a short while. We also long for people who value and appreciate us. The first reading teaches us that time helps us realize how poor and dependent we are before God, leading us to a life of prayer.
We have no power over time, but we can use the time God has given us to prepare for eternity. In the Gospel, Jesus speaks of the time of His rejection. He will be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes. He will be put to death as the sacrifice for the life of the world, but on the third day He will rise again.
Both readings invite us to believe every word spoken by Jesus. Let us become more faithful each day, making good use of the time God has entrusted to us, so that one day we may stand confidently before Him.
