“बुलावे के योग्य जीवन जिएं”
“ईश्वर ने आप लोगों को बुलाया है। आप अपने इस बुलावे के अनुसार आचरण करें - यह आप लोगों से मेरा अनुरोध है, जो प्रभु के कारण कै़दी हूँ ” (एफ़ेसियों 4:1)। हमें अपने बुलावे के योग्य जीवन जीने का प्रयास करना चाहिए, जिसमें नम्रता, कोमलता और धैर्य हो, और हम एक-दूसरे के साथ प्रेम में सहन करें। यह बुलावा केवल एक सम्मान नहीं, बल्कि एक ज़िम्मेदारी है कि हमारा आचरण प्रभु के प्रेम और अनुग्रह का प्रतिबिंब बने।
मत्ती 9:9–13 में हम देखते हैं कि येसु मत्ती, एक कर संग्रहकर्ता, को अपने अनुयायी बनने के लिए बुलाते हैं। येसु ने धर्मियों को नहीं, बल्कि पापियों को बुलाया, ताकि ईश्वर के प्रेम और दया को प्रदर्शित किया जा सके। मत्ती, जिसे लोग घृणा की दृष्टि से देखते थे, येसु के एक वचन से परिवर्तित हो गया। वह एक चुंगी लेने वाला से प्रेरित बन गया। यह बुलावा हमें दिखाता है कि ईश्वर निर्दोषों को नहीं, बल्कि पापियों को बुलाकर उन्हें नया जीवन देता है।
प्रभु के अनुयायी के रूप में हमें भी ऐसा जीवन जीना चाहिए जो ईश्वर के प्रेम और दया को दर्शाए। हमें विभिन्न वरदान दिए गए हैं, परन्तु आत्मा एक ही है, जो प्रभु के शरीर को बढ़ाने के लिए कार्य करती है (एफ़ेसियों 4:4–7, 11–13)। चाहे हम प्रेरित, भविष्यद्वक्ता, सुसमाचार प्रचारक, चरवाहे या शिक्षक हों, हमारा कार्य संतों को सेवा के कार्य के लिए तैयार करना और प्रभु के शरीर को सुदृढ़ बनाना है।
आओ हम अपने बुलावे के योग्य जीवन जीने का प्रयास करें, जैसे मत्ती ने येसु का अनुसरण करने के लिए सब कुछ छोड़ दिया। आओ हम सुसमाचार की शक्ति से परिवर्तित हों, ताकि हमारा जीवन ईश्वर के प्रेम और दया का सजीव प्रतिबिंब बने। अपने वरदानों का उपयोग दूसरों की सेवा करने, कलीसिया के निर्माण और ईश्वर की महिमा के लिए करें।
"ईश्वर अपना प्रेमपूर्ण उद्देश्य पूरा करने के लिए आप लोगों में सदिच्छा भी उत्पन्न करता और उसके अनुसार कार्य करने का बल भी प्रदान करता है।" (फ़िलिप्पियों 2:13)।
आओ हम ईश्वर के कार्य के प्रति विनम्र हों और उसे हमें रूपांतरित करने दें, ताकि हमारा जीवन उसके प्रेम और दया का जीवित प्रमाण बन सके।
“Walk in a Manner Worthy of Your Calling”
“As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called” (Ephesians 4:1). Saint Paul reminds us that our Christian calling is not a title or a privilege but a responsibility — to live with humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another in love. Our conduct should reflect the grace we have received from Christ, for we are His chosen people, called to be holy and loving in all we do.
In Matthew 9:9–13, we see Jesus calling Matthew, a tax collector, to follow Him. Matthew was a man despised by society, considered a sinner and an outcast. Yet Jesus looked at him with mercy and said, “Follow me.” That one invitation transformed Matthew’s life forever — from a collector of taxes to a collector of souls. Jesus’ call reveals the heart of God: He does not choose the perfect, but perfects those He chooses.
As followers of Christ, we too are called to live lives that reflect God’s love and mercy. Though we have different gifts and callings, it is the same Spirit that unites us. Some are called to lead, some to teach, some to serve, but all are called to build up the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:4–7, 11–13). Our vocation is not measured by position or recognition but by how faithfully we serve in love.
Let us, therefore, walk in a manner worthy of our calling, like Matthew, who left everything to follow Jesus. May we allow the gospel to transform our hearts, and may our lives become living witnesses of God’s mercy. Let us use our gifts not for self-praise, but to serve others, strengthen the Church, and glorify God in all things.
“For God is at work in you, helping you want to do His good purposes” (Philippians 2:13). May we surrender ourselves to His divine will, trusting that He who began a good work in us will bring it to completion.
