“क्रूस: विनम्रता से महिमा तक की राह”
क्रूस ईसाई विश्वास का केंद्र है; यह हमारे धर्म का मूल आधार है। यह हमें सिखाता है कि विनम्रता से ही महिमा प्राप्त होती है। इतिहास में हम अनेक संतों को देखते हैं जिन्होंने स्वयं को विनम्र किया और ईश्वर ने उन्हें ऊँचा उठाया। धन्य मरियम ने भी विनम्रता के साथ ईश्वर की इच्छा को स्वीकार किया, अपना क्रूस उठाया और उसकी व्यवस्था पर भरोसा किया।
येसु हम सबको भी यही निमंत्रण देते हैं: “जो मेरा अनुसरण करना चाहता है, वह आत्मत्याग करे और अपना क्रूस उठा कर मेरे पीछे हो ले।” (मारकुस 8:34)। जब हम कठिनाइयों और चुनौतियों का सामना करते हैं, तब हम ईश्वर को पुकार सकते हैं, और वह हमारी प्रार्थना अवश्य सुनता है। जैसा कि स्तोत्र-ग्रन्थ कहती है: “मैं प्रभु को ऊँचे स्वर में पुकारता हूँ, वह अपने पवित्र पर्वत से मुझे उत्तर देता है।” (स्तोत्र-ग्रन्थ 3:4)।
जब हम शक्ति के लिए प्रार्थना करते हैं, तब येसु हमें याद दिलाते हैं: “माँगो और तुम्हें दिया जायेगा; ढूँढ़ों और तुम्हें मिल जायेगा; खटखटाओं और तुम्हारे लिए खोला जायेगा।” (मत्ती 7:7–8)। प्रार्थना के द्वारा हम वह सामर्थ्य पाते हैं जिससे हम अपना क्रूस उठा सकें, जैसे येसु ने गेत्समनी के बाग़ में प्रार्थना की थी: “मेरे पिता! यदि हो सके, तो यह प्याला मुझ से टल जाये। फिर भी मेरी नही, बल्कि तेरी ही इच्छा पूरी हो।” (मत्ती 26:39)।
पवित्रता की ओर बढ़ने की इस यात्रा में हमें अनेक संघर्षों का सामना करना पड़ता है, किन्तु विश्वास और प्रार्थना के सहारे हम विजयी होते हैं। क्रूस हमारे लिए एक सेतु बन जाता है—जो हमें मृत्यु से जीवन की ओर, अंधकार से प्रकाश की ओर, और पाप से पवित्रता की ओर ले जाता है।
क्रूस की शक्ति ही हमारी सामर्थ्य, हमारी आशा और हमारा उद्धार बने।
“The Cross: The Path from Humility to Glory”
The Cross is at the heart of Christianity; it is central to our faith. It teaches us that humility leads to exaltation. Throughout history, we see many saints who humbled themselves and were exalted by God. The Blessed Virgin Mary, in her humility, accepted God’s will, carried her cross, and trusted in His providence.
Jesus calls each of us to do the same: “Take up your cross and follow me” (Mark 8:34). When we face challenges, we are not alone. We can cry out to God, and He will hear us, as Scripture assures: “I cried to the Lord with my voice, and He answered me from His holy hill” (Psalm 3:4).
In our moments of weakness, Jesus encourages us to pray with perseverance: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7–8). Through prayer, we find the strength to carry our cross just as Jesus did in Gethsemane, praying, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will” (Matthew 26:39).
Though we struggle and face trials on our journey toward holiness, our perseverance in faith leads us to victory. The Cross becomes our bridge—carrying us from death to life, from darkness to light, and from sin to holiness.
May the power of the Cross be our strength, our hope, and our salvation.
