“सच्चा प्रायश्चित और फलदायी जीवन”
लूका 13:1-9
आज का सुसमाचार हमें चेतावनी देता है कि हम सच्चे मन से प्रायश्चित करें और ईश्वर की ओर लौट आएँ। हम अक्सर भूल जाते हैं कि हमारा जीवन अनिश्चित और क्षणभंगुर है। इस संसार में रहते हुए हमें अनेक प्रकार के दुःख, कठिनाइयों और प्राकृतिक आपदाओं का सामना करना पड़ सकता है।
प्रभु हमें बताते हैं कि जब कोई दुखद घटना घटती है, तो इसका अर्थ यह नहीं कि वे लोग दूसरों से अधिक पापी थे। बल्कि प्रभु हमें यह समझाना चाहते हैं कि हम अपने हृदय से पश्चाताप करें और समय रहते ईश्वर की ओर लौट आएँ, अन्यथा हम भी नष्ट हो सकते हैं।
आज के दृष्टांत में अंजीर के पेड़ के माध्यम से प्रभु हमें सिखाते हैं कि ईश्वर दयालु, प्रेममय और धैर्यवान हैं। वे हमें पर्याप्त समय देते हैं ताकि हम अपने जीवन में विश्वास, धार्मिकता और प्रायश्चित के फल उत्पन्न करें तथा अपने जीवन में सुधार लाएँ।
यदि हम ईश्वर की कृपा का उत्तर नहीं देते, तो हम उस अंजीर के पेड़ के समान हो जाएँगे जो फल नहीं देता और अंत में काट दिया जाता है। इसलिए आज प्रभु हमें बुलाते हैं कि हम अपने जीवन को बदलें, अच्छे कार्यों के फल लाएँ और सच्चे मन से उनकी ओर लौट आएँ।
“True Repentance and a Fruitful Life”
Today's Gospel warns us to repent sincerely and return to God. We often forget that our life is uncertain and short. While living in this world, we may face many kinds of suffering, hardships, and natural disasters.
The Lord reminds us that when such tragedies occur, it does not mean that those people were greater sinners than others. Rather, He calls each one of us to examine our own lives, repent from our hearts, and return to God before it is too late.
Through the parable of the fig tree, Jesus teaches us that God is merciful, loving, and patient. He gives us time to bear the fruits of faith, repentance, and righteousness. He patiently waits for us to grow spiritually and to live according to His will.
However, if we fail to respond to His grace, we become like the barren fig tree that bears no fruit and is eventually cut down. Therefore, today the Lord calls us to change our lives, produce the fruits of goodness, and return to Him with sincere and repentant hearts.
