“तैयार रहो और विश्वास में जागरूक हो”
इफिसियों 2:12-22 लूका 12:35-38
हम अब अजनबी या परदेशी नहीं रहे, बल्कि ईश्वर के परिवार के सदस्य हैं। इसलिए आज प्रभु हमें जागते रहने और सदैव तैयार रहने के लिए बुलाते हैं, ताकि जब वे आएँ तो हम उन्हें खुले हृदय से ग्रहण कर सकें। इफिसियों के नाम अपने पत्र में संत पौलुस हमें स्मरण कराते हैं कि पहले हम मसीह से दूर थे, आशाहीन थे और ईश्वर से अपरिचित थे। परन्तु अब प्रभु यीशु मसीह के लहू के द्वारा हम ईश्वर के निकट आ गए हैं।
प्रभु यीशु ने यहूदियों और अन्यजातियों के बीच की शत्रुता की दीवार को तोड़ दिया और सबको एक नया मनुष्य बनाकर मेल-मिलाप और शांति का मार्ग दिखाया। उन्होंने प्रेम, भाईचारे और एकता का संदेश दिया। जिस प्रकार उन्होंने लोगों के बीच शांति स्थापित की, उसी प्रकार हम भी अपने परिवार, समाज और कलीसिया में मेल-मिलाप के साधन बनने के लिए बुलाए गए हैं।
सुसमाचार में प्रभु यीशु कहते हैं, “तुम्हारी कमर कसी रहे और तुम्हारे दीपक जलते रहें।” इसका अर्थ है कि हमें सदैव तैयार रहना चाहिए, जैसे कोई सेवक अपने स्वामी के लौटने की प्रतीक्षा करता है। हम जानते हैं कि एक दिन हमें इस संसार को छोड़ना है, फिर भी हम अक्सर ऐसे जीते हैं मानो हमें कभी मरना ही नहीं। प्रभु हमें आज आत्मिक रूप से जागरूक रहने का निमंत्रण देते हैं।
हमारे जीवन में विश्वास, प्रेम और आशा का दीपक निरंतर जलता रहना चाहिए, ताकि हम सत्य और असत्य में भेद कर सकें। जो व्यक्ति प्रभु की शिक्षा को अपने जीवन में अपनाता है, वह बुराई के मार्ग में नहीं भटकता। प्रभु नहीं चाहते कि हम भय में जीवन बिताएँ, बल्कि विश्वास और भरोसे में जिएँ। इसलिए हमें हर परिस्थिति में ईमानदार, जिम्मेदार और जागरूक सेवक बनकर प्रभु के कार्य में लगे रहना है। तब हम न केवल उनके आगमन के लिए तैयार होंगे, बल्कि संसार में दूसरों के लिए भी प्रकाश और शांति का माध्यम बनेंगे।
“Be Ready and Stay Vigilant in Faith”
Ephesians 2:12-22 Luke 12:35-38
We are no longer strangers or foreigners, but members of God's family. Therefore, today the Lord calls us to remain awake and always be ready, so that when He comes, we may welcome Him with open hearts. In his Letter to the Ephesians, Saint Paul reminds us that we were once far away from Christ, without hope and separated from God. But through the precious blood of Jesus Christ, we have now been brought near to Him.
Jesus broke down the wall of hostility between Jews and Gentiles, creating one new people united in peace. Through His sacrifice, He reconciled humanity with God and taught us the way of love, forgiveness, and brotherhood. As followers of Christ, we too are called to become instruments of peace and reconciliation wherever we live.
In the Gospel, Jesus tells His disciples, "Be dressed for action and keep your lamps burning." He teaches us to remain prepared, like faithful servants waiting for the return of their master. Although we know that one day our earthly life will end, we often live as though we will remain here forever. Today Jesus invites us to stay spiritually alert and watchful.
The lamp of faith, love, and hope must continue burning in our hearts, enabling us to distinguish truth from falsehood. Those who live according to Christ's teachings will not easily fall into the traps of evil. Jesus does not want us to live in fear, but in faithful expectation of His coming. Therefore, let us remain honest, responsible, and faithful servants of the Lord. As we wait for Him, may we also become a source of light, peace, and hope for everyone around us.
