“ईश्वर का मंदिर”
एजेकील 47:1-2,8-9,12 | 1 कुरिन्थियों 3:9-11,16-17 | संत योहन 2:13-22
येसु ख्रीस्त में प्यारे भाइयों एवं बहनों, आज माता कलीसिया लातेरन महा मंदिर का प्रतिष्ठान दिवस मना रही है, जिसे संत योहन लातेरन महा धर्रजाघर कहा जाता है। यह रोम में स्थित है। इसका प्रतिष्ठान सन् 324 ईस्वी में रोम सम्राट कॉन्स्टेंटाइन के समय हुआ। यह पहला सार्वजनिक ईसाई महा मंदिर माना जाता है।
कलीसिया में इसका प्रतिष्ठान दिवस 9 नवंबर को मनाया जाता है। यह मंदिर सभी धर्रजाघरों की माता और शिरोमणि कहलाता है और विश्वव्यापी कैथोलिक कलीसिया की एकता, विश्वास और परंपरा का प्रतीक है।
आज के सुसमाचार में हम प्रभु येसु के क्रोध को देखते हैं क्योंकि यरूशलेम का मंदिर, जो प्रार्थना का स्थान होना चाहिए था, व्यापारियों का अड्डा बन गया था। लोग बलिदान की वस्तुएँ बेच रहे थे और पैसे बदल रहे थे, जिससे पवित्र मंदिर अपवित्र हो रहा था।
फिर येसु ने अपने पुनरुत्थान के बारे में बताया — “इस मंदिर को ढहा दो और मैं इसे तीन दिनों में खड़ा कर दूँगा।” परन्तु लोग इसे समझ नहीं पाए। वे पत्थर के मंदिर के बारे में सोच रहे थे, जबकि येसु अपने शरीर के मंदिर की बात कर रहे थे, जो उनके क्रूस और पुनरुत्थान की ओर संकेत करता है।
तो आइए प्यारे भाइयों एवं बहनों, हम भी अपने शरीर रूपी ईश्वर के मंदिर को शुद्ध और पवित्र रखने का प्रयास करें।
“The Temple of God”

Dear brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, Today Mother Church celebrates the Dedication of the Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran. This cathedral is in Rome. It was dedicated in the year 324 A.D. during the time of Emperor Constantine the Great. It is considered the first public Christian basilica.
Its feast is celebrated in the Church on November 9. This basilica is called the Mother and Head of all churches and is a symbol of the unity, faith, and tradition of the universal Catholic Church.
In today’s Gospel from the Gospel of John, we see the anger of the Lord Jesus because the Temple of Jerusalem, which was meant to be a place of prayer, had become a marketplace. People were selling sacrificial animals and exchanging money, thus making the holy temple impure.
Then Jesus spoke about His Resurrection, saying, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” But the people did not understand Him. They were thinking about the stone temple, while Jesus was speaking about the temple of His body, pointing toward His crucifixion and resurrection.
Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, let us also strive to keep our bodies, which are temples of God, pure and holy.
