“बुद्धिमान कुंवारियाँ”
प्रज्ञा ग्रंथ 6:12-16 | थेसालोनिकी 4:13-18 | संत मत्ती 25:1-13
ख्रीस्त में प्यारे भाइयों एवं बहनों, आइए हम आज के सुसमाचार पर मनन-चिंतन करें। आज के सुसमाचार में प्रभु हमें दस कुंवारियों का दृष्टांत सुनाते हैं, जो दूल्हे की प्रतीक्षा कर रही थीं। सभी के पास दीपक थे, सभी बुलाई गई थीं, परन्तु उनमें केवल पाँच बुद्धिमान थीं जो अपने साथ अतिरिक्त तेल लेकर आई थीं।
जब दूल्हा आया तो बुद्धिमान तैयार थीं, किन्तु पाँच तैयार नहीं थीं। इस दृष्टांत के माध्यम से प्रभु हमें यह संदेश देते हैं कि हमें हमेशा तैयार और जागरूकता पर विशेष ध्यान रखना चाहिए।
दीपक हमारे बाहरी धार्मिक जीवन का प्रतीक है, लेकिन तेल हमारे अंदर के विश्वास, प्रार्थना, प्रेम और अच्छे कर्मों का संकेत है। दूल्हे के आने की देरी हमें यह सिखाती है कि प्रभु का आगमन कभी भी और अप्रत्याशित हो सकता है।
येसु कहते हैं, “जागते रहो” क्योंकि तुम न दिन जानते हो और न घड़ी। जागते रहना भय में जीना नहीं, बल्कि प्रतिदिन ईमानदारी, प्रेम और निष्ठा से जीवन जीना है।
आज यह वचन हमें आत्म-परीक्षण के लिए बुलाता है कि क्या हमारे पास केवल दीपक है या तेल भी है? तो आइए हम बुद्धिमान शिष्य बनें, ताकि जब प्रभु आए तो हम आनंदपूर्वक उनके साथ स्वर्गीय भोज में प्रवेश कर सकें।
“The Wise Virgins”
Wisdom 6:12-16 | 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 | Matthew 25:1-13
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Let us reflect on today’s Gospel. In today’s Gospel from the Gospel of Matthew, the Lord tells us the parable of the ten virgins who were waiting for the bridegroom. All of them had lamps and all were invited, but only five were wise because they brought extra oil with them.
When the bridegroom arrived, the wise ones were ready, but the other five were not prepared. Through this parable, the Lord gives us the message that we must always remain ready and watchful.
The lamp symbolizes our outward religious life, but the oil represents our inner faith, prayer, love, and good works. The delay of the bridegroom teaches us that the Lord’s coming may happen at any time and unexpectedly.
Jesus says, “Keep awake,” because we do not know the day or the hour. Staying awake does not mean living in fear, but living each day with honesty, love, and faithfulness.
Today this Word calls us to examine ourselves. Do we only have lamps, or do we also have oil? Let us become wise disciples, so that when the Lord comes, we may joyfully enter with Him into the heavenly banquet.
