“संत मार्टिन दे पोरेस : विनम्रता और सेवा का उदाहरण”
किलिप्पियों 2:5-12 | संत लूकस 14:15-25
येसु ख्रीस्त में प्यारे भाइयों एवं बहनों, आज माता कलीसिया संत मार्टिन दे पोरेस का पर्व मना रही है। वे विनम्रता, सेवा और प्रेम के महान उदाहरण थे। मार्टिन ने अपना पूरा जीवन गरीबों, बीमारों और उपेक्षित लोगों की सेवा में समर्पित कर दिया। वे सभी के साथ बिना भेदभाव के प्रेम से पेश आते थे।
उनकी सादगी, प्रार्थना पूर्ण जीवन और चमत्कारों के कारण लोग उन्हें बहुत सम्मान देते थे। संत मार्टिन हमें सिखाते हैं कि सच्ची पवित्रता सेवा, दया और करुणा में है। उनका जीवन हमें दूसरों की निःस्वार्थ सेवा करने और ईश्वर पर पूर्ण विश्वास रखने की प्रेरणा देता है।
आज के पहले पाठ में संत पौलुस हमें येसु मसीह के जैसे मन और सोच रखने का शुभ निमंत्रण देता है। वे हमें याद दिलाते हैं कि येसु मसीह स्वयं ईश्वर थे, फिर भी दास का रूप धारण कर इस पृथ्वी पर आए और स्वयं को दीन-हीन बनाया। यहां तक कि क्रूस पर मरना भी स्वीकार किया। यह येसु के प्रेम, त्याग और विनम्रता को प्रकट करता है।
इस विनम्रता और आज्ञाकारी के कारण परमेश्वर ने उन्हें अत्यंत ऊँचा उठाया और उन्हें वह नाम दिया जो हर नाम से ऊपर है।
आज के सुसमाचार के माध्यम से प्रभु हमें सच्चे शिष्यत्व का मार्ग दिखाते हैं। जो कोई उनका अनुसरण करना चाहते हैं, उन्हें सबसे पहले प्रभु की शिक्षा और वचनों को प्राथमिकता देनी चाहिए। प्रभु हमें आह्वान करते हैं कि दुःख-तकलीफ आने पर भी हम तैयार रहें। येसु का अनुसरण केवल शब्दों से नहीं, बल्कि त्याग, प्रतिबद्धता और पूर्ण समर्पण से होता है।
“St. Martin de Porres: Model of Humility and Service”
Philippians 2:5-12 | Luke 14:15-25
Dear brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, Today Mother Church celebrates the feast of St. Martin de Porres. He was a great example of humility, service, and love. Martin dedicated his entire life to serving the poor, the sick, and the neglected. He treated everyone with love without any discrimination.
His simplicity, prayerful life, and miracles earned him great respect from the people. St. Martin teaches us that true holiness lies in service, mercy, and compassion. His life inspires us to serve others selflessly and to trust God completely.
In today’s first reading, St. Paul invites us to have the same mind and attitude as Jesus Christ. He reminds us that though Jesus was God, He took the form of a servant, humbled Himself, and became obedient even to death on the cross. This reveals Jesus’ love, sacrifice, and humility.
Because of this humility and obedience, God highly exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name.
Through today’s Gospel, the Lord shows us the path of true discipleship. Those who wish to follow Him must give priority to the teachings and words of the Lord. The Lord calls us to be prepared for difficulties and sufferings. Following Jesus is not just in words, but through sacrifice, commitment, and total surrender.
