“सभी मृत विश्वासी भाई-बहनों का स्मरण दिवस”
प्रज्ञा ग्रंथ 3:1-9 | रोमियों 5:5-11 | संत योहन 6:38-40
येसु ख्रीस्त में प्यारे भाइयों एवं बहनों, आज माता कलीसिया सभी मृत विश्वासी भाई-बहनों का स्मरण दिवस मना रही है। क्योंकि हम इस दिन उन सभी विश्वासी भाई-बहनों को याद करते हैं जो इस संसार से विदा हो चुके हैं।
कलीसिया हमें यह सिखाती है कि मृत्यु जीवन का अंत नहीं है, बल्कि ईश्वर के साथ स्वर्ग में अनंत जीवन और अनंत सुख प्राप्त करने का द्वार है। इस दिन हम अपने माता-पिता, रिश्तेदारों, मित्रों और सभी मृत आत्माओं के लिए प्रार्थना करते हैं ताकि वे ईश्वर की करुणा और शांति में विश्राम पाएँ।
आज के सुसमाचार के माध्यम से येसु हमें आशा और सांत्वना का संदेश देते हैं जो सभी आत्माओं के पर्व से जुड़ा हुआ है। क्योंकि येसु कहते हैं कि “मैं स्वर्ग से इसलिए आया हूँ कि मैं अपनी नहीं, बल्कि मेरे भेजने वाले की इच्छा पूरी करूँ”।
इससे हमें पता चलता है कि येसु ने अपना जीवन मानवता के उद्धार के लिए समर्पित किया था, विशेषकर उन लोगों के लिए जो मृत्यु के मार्ग से होकर गुजर चुके हैं। जो अंतिम दिन प्रभु द्वारा जिलाए जाएँगे।
किंतु हम इन बातों को नहीं समझ पाते और हम अपने प्रिय जनों को याद करके दुःखी होते हैं। किंतु प्रभु हमें आश्वासन देते हैं कि मृत्यु हमारे जीवन का अंत नहीं बल्कि अनंत जीवन की शुरुआत है। तो आइये प्रिय भाइयों एवं बहनों, हम प्रभु के बताए हुए मार्ग पर चलें ताकि हम भी अंतिम दिन जिलाए जाएँ।
“Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed”
Wisdom 3:1–9 | Romans 5:5–11 | John 6:38–40
Dear brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, Today Mother Church observes the Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed (All Souls’ Day). On this day, we remember all our faithful brothers and sisters who have departed from this world.
The Church teaches us that death is not the end of life, but the beginning of eternal life and everlasting joy with God in heaven. On this day, we pray for our parents, relatives, friends, and for all departed souls, that they may rest in God’s mercy and peace.
In today’s Gospel from the Gospel of John, Jesus gives us a message of hope and consolation connected with this sacred remembrance. Jesus says that He came down from heaven not to do His own will, but the will of the One who sent Him.
This shows us that Jesus dedicated His life for the salvation of humanity, especially for those who have passed through the path of death. He promises that on the last day, they will be raised up by the Lord.
Sometimes we do not fully understand these truths, and we feel sorrow when we remember our loved ones. Yet the Lord assures us that death is not the end of our life, but the beginning of eternal life. Therefore, dear brothers and sisters, let us walk in the path shown by the Lord, so that we too may be raised up on the last day.
