आज के दोनों पाठ हमें याद दिलाते हैं कि मसीही जीवन केवल बाहरी रीति-रिवाजों का नहीं, बल्कि भीतर से बदलकर फल देने वाला जीवन है।
प्रेरित पेत्रुस कहते हैं: “सृष्टि का अंत निकट है।” इसलिए हमें संयम रखना है, प्रार्थना में दृढ़ रहना है और सबसे बढ़कर एक-दूसरे से गहरा प्रेम करना है।
क्योंकि प्रेम ही वह शक्ति है जो पापों को ढाँक देता है और भाई-बहनों को जोड़कर रखता है।
1. आत्मिक जागरूकता:
मसीही जीवन हमें सतर्क रहने और आत्म-संयम में जीने के लिए बुलाता है।
2. प्रेम की शक्ति:
सच्चा प्रेम दूसरों की गलतियों को ढाँकता है और समुदाय को एकता में बाँधता है।
3. अंजीर के वृक्ष का पाठ:
येसु उस अंजीर के वृक्ष को शाप देते हैं जिसमें फल नहीं था।
यह हमें चेतावनी देता है कि केवल बाहरी दिखावा पर्याप्त नहीं है।
यदि हमारे जीवन में प्रार्थना, प्रेम और विश्वास के फल नहीं हैं, तो हम भी केवल पत्तों से भरे वृक्ष के समान रह जाएंगे।
4. प्रार्थना का घर:
येसु हमें सिखाते हैं कि ईश्वर का घर प्रार्थना का घर है,
और विश्वास से माँगने वाले के लिए सब कुछ संभव है।
इसलिए हमें अपने जीवन को प्रार्थना और विश्वास से मजबूत बनाना है।
आइए हम प्रार्थना करें कि हमारा जीवन केवल दिखावे का न हो, बल्कि सच्चे प्रेम, गहरी प्रार्थना और दृढ़ विश्वास से भरा हुआ फलदायी जीवन बने।

Both of today’s readings remind us that Christian life is not merely about external rituals, but about inner transformation that produces lasting fruit.
The Apostle Peter says: “The end of all things is near.” Therefore, we must be self-controlled, steadfast in prayer, and above all, love one another deeply.
For love is the power that covers sins and binds brothers and sisters together.
1. Spiritual vigilance:
Christian life calls us to live with awareness, discipline, and readiness.
2. Power of love:
True love covers faults and builds unity within the community.
3. Lesson of the fig tree:
Jesus curses the fig tree that bore no fruit.
This is a warning against a life of mere appearance without substance.
If our lives lack the fruits of prayer, love, and faith, we too risk becoming like a tree full of leaves but no fruit.
4. House of prayer:
Jesus teaches that the house of God is a house of prayer,
and that everything is possible for the one who believes.
Therefore, we must build our lives on prayer and faith.
Let us pray that our lives may not be only outwardly impressive, but truly fruitful in love, prayer, and steadfast faith for the glory of God.
