“Redemption through Christ and the Call to Serve”
आज के पहले पाठ में संत पेत्रुस हमें याद दिलाते हैं कि हमारा उद्धार किसी सांसारिक वस्तु—सोना या चाँदी—से नहीं हुआ, बल्कि येसु मसीह के बहुमूल्य रक्त से हुआ है।
येसु निर्दोष मेमने के समान हमारे पापों के लिए बलिदान हुए। उनके बलिदान के द्वारा हमें नया जीवन और सच्चा प्रेम प्राप्त हुआ है।
इसलिए मसीही जीवन केवल विश्वास नहीं, बल्कि प्रेम और पवित्रता में जीने की जिम्मेदारी भी है।
1. उद्धार का मूल्य:
हमारा उद्धार अनमोल है, जिसे मसीह के रक्त से खरीदा गया है।
यह हमें पवित्र जीवन जीने की प्रेरणा देता है।
2. शिष्यत्व की गलत समझ:
सुसमाचार में याकूब और योहन सम्मान और पद की इच्छा रखते हैं।
वे येसु के राज्य में ऊँचा स्थान चाहते हैं।
लेकिन येसु उन्हें सिखाते हैं कि ईश्वर के राज्य में महानता पद नहीं, बल्कि सेवा है।
3. सेवा ही महानता है:
“जो बड़ा होना चाहता है, वह सबका सेवक बने।”
सच्ची महानता शक्ति में नहीं, बल्कि प्रेमपूर्ण सेवा में है।
4. येसु हमारा आदर्श:
“मानव पुत्र सेवा कराने नहीं, बल्कि सेवा करने और बहुतों के उद्धार के लिए अपने प्राण देने आया है।”
येसु स्वयं बलिदान और सेवा का सर्वोच्च उदाहरण हैं।
आइए हम प्रार्थना करें कि हम अपने उद्धार के मूल्य को कभी न भूलें, और येसु की तरह निस्वार्थ सेवा का जीवन जीएँ।

In today’s first reading, St. Peter reminds us that our salvation did not come through gold or silver, but through the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
Jesus, like a spotless lamb, was sacrificed for our sins. Through His sacrifice, we have received new life and true love.
Therefore, the Christian life is not only about faith, but also about living in love and holiness.
1. The value of salvation:
Our salvation is priceless, purchased by the blood of Christ.
It calls us to live a holy and transformed life.
2. Misunderstanding discipleship:
In the Gospel, James and John seek honor and position in Christ’s glory.
But Jesus teaches that greatness in God’s Kingdom is not about power but about service.
3. Greatness is service:
“Whoever wishes to be great must become the servant of all.”
True greatness is found in humble and loving service.
4. Jesus our model:
“The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”
Jesus Himself is the perfect example of sacrifice and service.
Let us pray that we may never forget the price of our redemption, and that we may live selflessly as true disciples of Christ.
