“Holiness and the Reward of Discipleship”
आज का पहला पाठ हमें प्रभु का पवित्र आह्वान सुनाता है: “पवित्र बनो क्योंकि मैं पवित्र हूँ।”
यह हमें याद दिलाता है कि ईश्वर हमें पवित्र जीवन जीने के लिए बुलाते हैं। सुसमाचार में येसु अपने शिष्यों को आश्वासन देते हैं कि जो लोग उनके लिए सब कुछ छोड़कर उनका अनुसरण करते हैं, उन्हें इस जीवन में आशीष और आने वाले जीवन में अनन्त जीवन मिलेगा।
1. पवित्र जीवन का अर्थ:
पवित्रता केवल बाहरी नियमों का पालन नहीं है, बल्कि हृदय की शुद्धता है।
झूठ, लालच, घमंड और पाप से दूर रहकर हम सच्चा पवित्र जीवन जीते हैं।
पवित्र व्यक्ति वह है जो प्रार्थना करता है, दूसरों की सेवा करता है और प्रेम से जीवन जीता है।
2. शिष्यत्व का अर्थ:
येसु का अनुसरण करना कभी-कभी त्याग की मांग करता है—
स्वार्थ छोड़ना, दूसरों की मदद करना और अपना समय ईश्वर की सेवा में देना।
यह मार्ग कठिन हो सकता है, पर यही सच्चा आनंद और शांति देता है।
3. ईश्वर का वादा:
येसु आश्वासन देते हैं कि जो उनका अनुसरण करते हैं, उन्हें इस जीवन में भी आशीषें मिलेंगी और अनन्त जीवन प्राप्त होगा।
4. हमारा आह्वान:
हमें बुलाया गया है कि हम पाप से दूर रहें, पवित्र जीवन जिएँ और येसु के सच्चे शिष्य बनें।
आइए हम प्रार्थना करें कि हम पवित्रता के मार्ग पर स्थिर रहें और प्रभु के अनुसार जीवन जिएँ।
“Holiness and the Reward of Discipleship”
Today’s first reading calls us to God’s command: “Be holy, for I am holy.”
This reminds us that we are called to live a life of holiness. In the Gospel, Jesus assures His disciples that those who leave everything to follow Him will receive blessings in this life and eternal life in heaven.
1. Meaning of holiness:
Holiness is not only external observance of rules, but purity of heart.
True holiness means staying away from lies, greed, pride, and sin.
A holy person is one who prays, serves others, and lives with love.
2. Meaning of discipleship:
Following Jesus often requires sacrifice—letting go of selfishness,
helping others, and offering our time in God’s service.
Though this path is challenging, it leads to true peace and joy.
3. God’s promise:
Jesus assures that those who follow Him will receive blessings in this life and eternal life in heaven.
4. Our call:
We are called to stay away from sin, live a holy life, and become true disciples of Jesus.
Let us pray that we may remain firm in holiness and follow the Lord faithfully.
