“तुम मेरा अनुसरण करो” — तुलना से मुक्त शिष्यत्व
आज के सुसमाचार में हम संत योहन के सुसमाचार के अंतिम भाग को सुनते हैं। पेत्रुस, जिसे येसु से पुनः मेल-मिलाप और नया मिशन प्राप्त हुआ है, “प्रिय शिष्य” की ओर देखकर उसके भविष्य के बारे में पूछता है।
येसु उत्तर देते हैं: “यदि मैं चाहता हूँ कि वह मेरे आने तक रहे, तो इससे तुम्हें क्या? तुम मेरा अनुसरण करो।”
यह वचन प्रत्येक शिष्य के लिए एक गहरा आध्यात्मिक संदेश है—शिष्यत्व तुलना का नहीं, बल्कि व्यक्तिगत बुलाहट का मार्ग है।
1. तुलना का प्रलोभन:
आज के समाज में हम अक्सर दूसरों के जीवन से अपनी तुलना करते हैं—उनकी सफलता, प्रतिभा, अवसर या सेवाकार्य से।
सोशल मीडिया ने इस प्रवृत्ति को और अधिक बढ़ा दिया है।
इसके कारण अनेक लोग अपने जीवन को कमतर, अधूरा या असंतुष्ट महसूस करने लगते हैं।
2. मसीह का उत्तर: “तुम मेरा अनुसरण करो”
येसु हमें स्पष्ट रूप से सिखाते हैं कि शिष्यत्व प्रतिस्पर्धा नहीं है।
यह दूसरों से आगे निकलने की दौड़ नहीं, बल्कि अपने बुलावे में निष्ठा से चलना है।
हर व्यक्ति का ईश्वर के साथ एक अनोखा संबंध और एक अनोखी यात्रा है।
3. व्यक्तिगत बुलाहट का महत्व:
प्रभु हमें किसी और की तरह बनने के लिए नहीं, बल्कि अपने उद्देश्य में पवित्र बनने के लिए बुलाते हैं।
हमारी यात्रा अनोखी है, और ईश्वर की योजना में उसका विशेष स्थान है।
4. मसीह का अनंत कार्य:
सुसमाचार के अंत में संत योहन स्वीकार करते हैं कि यदि येसु के सभी कार्य लिखे जाते, तो संसार भी उन्हें समा नहीं सकता था।
यह हमें याद दिलाता है कि मसीह का कार्य आज भी हमारे जीवन में जारी है।
हर क्षमा, हर सेवा, हर प्रेम का कार्य इस दिव्य कहानी का हिस्सा है।
प्रिय भाइयों और बहनों, आज का संदेश स्पष्ट है: तुलना छोड़ो और मसीह का अनुसरण करो।
आइए हम प्रार्थना करें कि हम मसीह की आवाज़ को सुन सकें और अपने जीवन में साहस, निष्ठा और आनन्द के साथ उनका अनुसरण कर सकें। आमेन।
“Follow Me” — A Life Free from Comparison
In today’s Gospel, we hear the concluding words of St. John’s Gospel. Peter, after being reconciled and given a new mission, turns to the “beloved disciple” and asks about his future.
Jesus responds: “If it is my will that he remains until I come, what is that to you? You follow me!”
This is a powerful reminder that discipleship is not about comparison, but about personal fidelity to Christ’s call.
1. The danger of comparison:
In today’s world, especially through social media, we constantly compare our lives with others.
This often leads to insecurity, dissatisfaction, and inner restlessness.
2. Jesus’ answer: “You follow me”
Jesus clearly teaches that discipleship is not competition.
It is not about who is greater, but about faithfully walking one’s own path with God.
3. A personal calling:
Each person has a unique relationship with Christ and a unique mission in life.
God’s plan for each of us is different and deeply personal.
4. The ongoing work of Christ:
St. John concludes his Gospel by saying that if all Jesus did were written, the world itself could not contain the books.
This reminds us that Christ’s work continues even today through our lives. Every act of forgiveness, service, and love continues His mission in history.
Dear brothers and sisters, the message is clear: Stop comparing—follow Christ.
Let us pray for the grace to hear His voice and respond with courage, joy, and faithfulness in our daily lives. Amen.
