“क्या तुम मुझसे प्रेम करते हो? मेरी भेड़ों को चराओ”

आज के सुसमाचार में हम येसु और पेत्रुस के बीच एक अत्यन्त गहरा और हृदयस्पर्शी संवाद देखते हैं। पुनरुत्थान के बाद येसु पेत्रुस से तीन बार पूछते हैं: “क्या तुम मुझसे प्रेम करते हो?”

हर बार पेत्रुस उत्तर देता है: “हाँ प्रभु, आप जानते हैं कि मैं आपसे प्रेम करता हूँ।” और हर बार येसु उसे एक मिशन सौंपते हैं: “मेरी भेड़ों को चराओ।”

यह प्रसंग केवल पेत्रुस की पुनर्स्थापना नहीं है, बल्कि हर शिष्य के लिए एक बुलाहट है। मसीह से प्रेम केवल शब्दों में नहीं, बल्कि सेवा और जिम्मेदारी में प्रकट होना चाहिए।

1. प्रेम का अर्थ जिम्मेदारी है:
येसु दिखाते हैं कि सच्चा प्रेम केवल भावना नहीं, बल्कि जिम्मेदारी और सेवा है। आज हमें भी अपने प्रेम को गरीबों, बीमारों और ज़रूरतमंदों की सेवा में प्रकट करना है।

2. क्षमा और नई शुरुआत:
पेत्रुस ने तीन बार येसु का इन्कार किया, फिर भी येसु ने उसे तीन बार प्रेम स्वीकार करने का अवसर दिया। यह हमें सिखाता है कि प्रभु हमें हमारे पापों में नहीं छोड़ते, बल्कि क्षमा कर नए कार्य के लिए बुलाते हैं।

आज भी कई लोग अपने अतीत से टूट जाते हैं, परन्तु येसु हमें पुनः उठाकर अपनी सेवा में लगाते हैं।

3. “मेरी भेड़ों को चराओ” — सार्वभौमिक बुलाहट:
यह केवल पुरोहितों के लिए नहीं, बल्कि हर मसीही के लिए है। इसका अर्थ है—भूखों को भोजन देना, अकेलों को सहारा देना, युवाओं को मार्गदर्शन देना और परिवारों को मजबूत करना।

4. शिष्यत्व की कीमत:
येसु पेत्रुस को बताते हैं कि सच्चा प्रेम बलिदान तक ले जा सकता है। आज भी मसीही जीवन साहस मांगता है—सत्य बोलना, ईमानदारी से जीना, प्रेम और क्षमा को चुनना।

प्रिय भाइयों और बहनों, येसु आज हमसे पूछते हैं: “क्या तुम मुझसे प्रेम करते हो?”

यदि हमारा उत्तर “हाँ” है, तो हमें उनके भेड़ों की सेवा करनी होगी—अपने परिवार, समाज और कलीसिया में।

आइए हम प्रेम, सेवा और करुणा के सच्चे गवाह बनें और अपने जीवन को मसीह के लिए अर्पित करें। आमेन।

“Do You Love Me? Feed My Sheep”

In today’s Gospel, we witness a deeply moving conversation between Jesus and Peter. After His resurrection, Jesus asks Peter three times: “Do you love me?”

Each time Peter responds, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you,” and each time Jesus entrusts him with a mission: “Feed my sheep.”

This passage is not only about Peter’s restoration after denial, but about the mission of every disciple. Love for Christ must be expressed in service and responsibility.

1. Love means responsibility:
True love is not just emotion but action. We are called to serve the poor, the sick, and the needy.

2. Forgiveness and new beginning:
Peter denied Jesus three times, yet Jesus gave him three opportunities to affirm his love. This shows that God does not abandon us in failure but restores us.

Many today feel unworthy because of their past, but Jesus calls them again into mission and grace.

3. “Feed my sheep” — a universal mission:
This is not only for ordained ministers but for all believers: caring for the hungry, the lonely, the youth, and struggling families.

4. The cost of discipleship:
Jesus tells Peter that love will demand sacrifice. Today too, discipleship requires courage—truth, integrity, forgiveness, and love over hatred.

Dear brothers and sisters, Jesus asks us today: “Do you love me?”

If we say yes, then we must feed His sheep through our lives in family, Church, and society.

Let us become living witnesses of Christ’s love, service, and compassion. Amen.
