येसु की प्रार्थना: आने वाले विश्वासियों के लिए एकता और प्रेम

आज के सुसमाचार (योहन 17:20–26) में हम येसु की महायाजकीय प्रार्थना का अंतिम भाग सुनते हैं। यहाँ येसु केवल अपने शिष्यों के लिए नहीं, बल्कि आने वाली पीढ़ियों के सभी विश्वासियों के लिए प्रार्थना करते हैं।

वे कहते हैं: “मैं केवल इनके लिए ही नहीं, बल्कि उन सब के लिए भी प्रार्थना करता हूँ, जो इनके वचन के द्वारा मुझ पर विश्वास करेंगे, कि वे सब एक हों।”

यह प्रार्थना हमें एक गहरे आध्यात्मिक सत्य की ओर ले जाती है — एकता, जो त्रित्व ईश्वर के जीवन को प्रतिबिंबित करती है। जैसे पिता और पुत्र एक हैं, वैसे ही येसु चाहते हैं कि उनके सभी अनुयायी भी एक हों।

एकता और मिशन: येसु आगे कहते हैं कि यह एकता इसलिए आवश्यक है “ताकि दुनिया विश्वास करे”। इसका अर्थ है कि हमारी एकता ही सुसमाचार की साक्षी बनती है।

आज के समय में समाज, परिवारों और कलीसिया के भीतर विभाजन देखने को मिलता है। लेकिन जब हम प्रेम और एकता में रहते हैं, तब मसीह का प्रकाश संसार में दिखाई देता है।

1. एकता हमारी गवाही है: सुसमाचार केवल शब्दों से नहीं फैलता, बल्कि हमारे जीवन की एकता और प्रेम से फैलता है।

2. प्रेम में जीवन जीना: जब हम एक-दूसरे को स्वीकार करते हैं, क्षमा करते हैं और साथ चलते हैं, तब हम येसु की प्रार्थना को जीवन में पूरा करते हैं।

3. त्रित्व में सहभागिता: येसु हमें पिता और पुत्र की एकता में सहभागी होने के लिए बुलाते हैं, ताकि हमारा जीवन ईश्वर के प्रेम का प्रतिबिंब बने।

प्रिय भाइयों और बहनों, यह प्रार्थना केवल अतीत की नहीं है, बल्कि आज हमारे लिए मिशन है। जब हम एकता और प्रेम में चलते हैं, तो संसार मसीह को पहचानता है।

आइए हम पवित्र आत्मा से प्रार्थना करें कि वह हमें एकता, प्रेम और सच्ची गवाही में दृढ़ बनाए। ताकि संसार विश्वास करे कि येसु ही प्रभु और उद्धारकर्ता हैं। आमेन।

Jesus’ Prayer: Unity and Love for Future Believers

In today’s Gospel (John 17:20–26), we hear the final part of Jesus’ High Priestly Prayer. Here, Jesus prays not only for His disciples, but for all future believers who will come to faith.

He says: “I pray not only for these, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word, that they may all be one.”

This prayer reveals a profound theological truth—unity that reflects the very life of the Holy Trinity. Just as the Father and the Son are one, Jesus desires that all believers be one in Him.

Unity and Mission: Jesus connects unity with mission: “so that the world may believe.” Our unity becomes a powerful testimony to the Gospel.

In today’s world, division is seen in families, communities, and even within the Church. But when we live in love and unity, the light of Christ becomes visible to the world.

1. Unity is our witness: The Gospel is proclaimed not only through words but through our shared life of love.

2. Living in love: When we forgive, accept, and walk together, we fulfill Jesus’ prayer in our lives.

3. Participation in the Trinity: Jesus invites us into the unity of the Father and the Son, so that our lives may reflect God’s love to the world.

Dear friends, this prayer is not just a historical moment—it is a mission for us today. When we live in unity and love, the world sees Christ.

Let us pray that the Holy Spirit may strengthen us in unity, love, and faithful witness, so that the world may believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior. Amen.
