येसु की प्रार्थना: एकता, महिमा और विश्वास
आज के सुसमाचार में हम येसु की उस सुन्दर प्रार्थना को सुनते हैं, जो उन्होंने अपने पिता से की। अपने दुःखभोग और मृत्यु से ठीक पहले येसु अपनी आँखें स्वर्ग की ओर उठाकर प्रार्थना करते हैं। वे केवल अपने लिए नहीं, बल्कि अपने शिष्यों के लिए भी प्रार्थना करते हैं।
वे कहते हैं: “पिता, वह घड़ी आ पहुँची है; अपने पुत्र की महिमा कर, जिससे पुत्र भी तेरी महिमा करे।” यह वचन येसु और पिता के गहरे संबंध को प्रकट करता है — प्रेम, आज्ञाकारिता और एकता का संबंध।
इस सुसमाचार में हमें तीन महत्वपूर्ण संदेश मिलते हैं:
1. प्रार्थना हमारे मिशन की नींव है: येसु अपने दुःखभोग से पहले प्रार्थना करते हैं। वे कार्य से पहले प्रार्थना को स्थान देते हैं। आज की व्यस्त दुनिया में हम अक्सर कार्यों में उलझ जाते हैं और प्रार्थना को भूल जाते हैं। बिना प्रार्थना के जीवन और कलीसिया कमजोर हो जाती है।
2. ईसाई जीवन का उद्देश्य ईश्वर की महिमा करना है: येसु का पूरा जीवन पिता की महिमा के लिए था। आज भी हमें अपनी नहीं बल्कि ईश्वर की महिमा करनी है। हर छोटा कार्य, हर सेवा और हर बलिदान ईश्वर की महिमा का साधन बन सकता है।
3. येसु हमारे लिए प्रार्थना करते हैं: यह सुसमाचार हमें बड़ी सांत्वना देता है — येसु केवल शिष्यों के लिए ही नहीं, बल्कि आज भी हमारे लिए प्रार्थना करते हैं। वे हमारे भय, संघर्ष और टूटन को जानते हैं।
आज का समाज अनेक चुनौतियों से गुजर रहा है — विश्वास की कमी, भौतिकवाद, टूटे परिवार और विभाजन। लेकिन हम अकेले नहीं हैं। प्रभु स्वयं हमारे लिए मध्यस्थता करते हैं।
इसलिए हमें अपने जीवन में प्रार्थना, ईश्वर की महिमा और एकता को बनाए रखना है, ताकि कलीसिया और समाज में ईश्वर की महिमा प्रकट हो सके।
आइए हम इस सत्य को अपने हृदय में रखें कि येसु की प्रार्थना आज भी हमें संभाले हुए है। हम प्रेम, एकता और विश्वास में दृढ़ रहें। आमेन।
Jesus’ Prayer: Unity, Glory, and Faith
In today’s Gospel, we hear the beautiful prayer of Jesus to His Father. Just before His Passion and death, Jesus lifts His eyes to heaven and prays — not only for Himself, but also for His disciples.
He says: “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son so that the Son may glorify you.” These words reveal the deep relationship between Jesus and the Father — a relationship of love, obedience, and unity.
This passage teaches us three important lessons:
1. Prayer is the foundation of our mission: Before His Passion, Jesus turns to prayer. He begins not with action, but with communion with the Father. In today’s busy world, we often forget this foundation. Without prayer, our Christian life becomes weak.
2. Christian life is about giving glory to God: Jesus lived entirely to glorify the Father. In today’s society, many seek self-glory, recognition, and power. But our true purpose is to glorify God in all we do.
3. Jesus prays for us: This Gospel is full of comfort. Jesus prayed for His disciples, and He continues to intercede for us today. He knows our struggles, fears, and brokenness.
Our world today faces loss of faith, materialism, broken families, and divisions. Yet we are not alone — the Lord Himself prays for us before the Father.
Therefore, let us hold on to prayer, live for God’s glory, and grow in unity so that the Church and the world may reflect His presence.
Let us remember that Jesus’ prayer still covers us today. May we live in love, unity, and faith. Amen.
