मसीह की विजय में साहस और आशा
आज के सुसमाचार में येसु अपने शिष्यों से जीवन की एक सच्चाई साझा करते हैं — जीवन कठिनाइयों, भय और अनिश्चितताओं से भरा हुआ है। वह उनसे कहते हैं: “संसार में तुम्हें कलेश सहना पड़ेगा; परन्तु ढारस रखो, मैंने संसार पर विजय पायी है।”
शिष्य उस समय सोच रहे थे कि वे सब कुछ समझ गए हैं, लेकिन येसु जानते थे कि उनका विश्वास परखा जाएगा। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि वे सब बिखर जाएंगे और उन्हें अकेला छोड़ देंगे। फिर भी येसु आश्वासन देते हैं कि वे कभी सचमुच अकेले नहीं हैं, क्योंकि पिता उनके साथ हैं।
यह संदेश आज हमारे समाज के लिए भी बहुत गहरा है। हम ऐसे समय में जी रहे हैं जब हिंसा, अन्याय, भ्रष्टाचार, परिवारों का टूटना, बेरोजगारी, नशे की समस्या और नैतिक मूल्यों की कमी हमारे चारों ओर दिखाई देती है। कई लोग निराश, असहाय और अकेले महसूस करते हैं। जैसे शिष्य डर से जूझ रहे थे, वैसे ही हम भी जूझते हैं।
येसु हमें तीन महत्वपूर्ण बातें सिखाते हैं:
पहला: कठिनाइयों से मत घबराओ। संघर्ष जीवन का हिस्सा हैं। विश्वास हमारे जीवन से समस्याएँ नहीं हटाता, बल्कि उन्हें आशा के साथ सहन करने की शक्ति देता है।
दूसरा: तुम कभी अकेले नहीं हो। जैसे पिता सदैव येसु के साथ थे, वैसे ही ईश्वर हर समय हमारे साथ हैं। जब लोग हमें छोड़ देते हैं, तब भी ईश्वर हमारा साथ नहीं छोड़ते।
तीसरा: हिम्मत रखो, क्योंकि मसीह ने पहले ही विजय प्राप्त की है। पुनरुत्थान जीवन की मृत्यु पर, प्रेम की घृणा पर और सत्य की झूठ पर विजय है।
जब हम समाज में भ्रष्टाचार, अन्याय और नैतिक संकट देखते हैं, तो हमें याद रखना चाहिए कि येसु पहले ही विजयी हो चुके हैं। हमारा कर्तव्य है कि हम ईमानदारी, करुणा और साहस से उनके गवाह बनें।
प्रिय भाइयों और बहनों, यह सुसमाचार हमें डरने की जगह आशा और विश्वास के साथ जीने के लिए बुलाता है। अपने परिवारों, विद्यालयों, कार्यस्थलों और समाज में हमें शांति वहाँ लानी है जहाँ विभाजन है, साहस वहाँ लाना है जहाँ भय है, और विश्वास वहाँ लाना है जहाँ संदेह है।
आइए हम प्रार्थना करें कि आज के समाज में — जहाँ बहुत लोग बिखरे हुए, भ्रमित और खोए हुए हैं — हम मसीह की विजय के जीवित चिन्ह बनें। और जब भी हम स्वयं को कमजोर या निराश महसूस करें, हम फिर से उनके वचनों को सुनें: “धीरज रखो; मैंने संसार पर विजय प्राप्त कर ली है।” आमेन।
Courage and Hope in Christ’s Victory
In today’s Gospel, Jesus speaks to His disciples about a reality that is as true now as it was then: life is filled with trials, fears, and uncertainties. He tells them: “In the world you will face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world.”
The disciples thought they understood everything at that moment, but Jesus knew that their faith would be tested. He even told them that they would scatter and leave Him alone. Yet Jesus assures them that He is never truly alone because the Father is with Him.
This message is very powerful for our society today. We live in a world shaken by violence, injustice, corruption, family breakdowns, unemployment, addictions, and the loss of values. Many people feel abandoned, afraid, or hopeless. Just as the disciples struggled with fear, so do we.
Jesus teaches us three important lessons:
First: Do not be surprised by troubles. Struggles are part of human life. Faith does not remove difficulties, but it gives us strength to face them with hope.
Second: You are never alone. Just as the Father was with Jesus, God is always with us. Even when friends, family, or society abandon us, God remains faithful.
Third: Take courage because Christ has already won. The Resurrection is the victory of life over death, love over hatred, and truth over lies.
When we face corruption, injustice, or moral challenges in society, we must remember that Jesus has already conquered the world. Our task is to live as witnesses of that victory through honesty, compassion, and courage.
Dear brothers and sisters, this Gospel calls us not to be afraid. Instead, we are invited to live with hope and confidence. In our families, schools, workplaces, and communities, we must bring peace where there is division, courage where there is fear, and faith where there is doubt.
Let us pray that in today’s society—where many are scattered, confused, or lost—we may become living signs of Christ’s victory. Whenever we feel weak or discouraged, let us hear His words again: “Take courage; I have conquered the world.” Amen.
