“येसु – मार्ग, सत्य और जीवन”
आज के सुसमाचार में प्रभु येसु अपने शिष्यों को सांत्वना देते हैं, क्योंकि उनका मन व्याकुल और चिंतित है। वे उनसे कहते हैं, “तुम्हारा जी न घबराए। ईश्वर में विश्वास करो और मुझ में भी विश्वास करो।” यह वचन हमें भी याद दिलाता है कि जीवन की कठिनाइयों, भय और अनिश्चितताओं के बीच हमें प्रभु पर भरोसा बनाए रखना चाहिए।
येसु अपने शिष्यों को आश्वासन देते हैं कि वे पिता के घर में उनके लिए स्थान तैयार करने जा रहे हैं। यह हमें स्वर्ग की आशा देता है, जहाँ प्रभु अपने विश्वासयोग्य लोगों को अपने साथ सदा के लिए रखना चाहते हैं। हमारा जीवन केवल इस संसार तक सीमित नहीं है; हमारा अंतिम लक्ष्य ईश्वर के साथ अनन्त जीवन प्राप्त करना है।
प्रभु येसु कहते हैं, “मार्ग, सत्य और जीवन मैं हूँ। मुझसे होकर गए बिना कोई पिता के पास नहीं आ सकता।” यह वचन हमें सिखाता है कि येसु ही वह मार्ग हैं जो हमें ईश्वर तक पहुँचाता है। उनके वचन सत्य हैं और उन्हीं में हमें सच्चा जीवन मिलता है। जब हम उनके मार्ग पर चलते हैं, तब हमारा जीवन सही दिशा प्राप्त करता है।
दूसरे पाठ में संत पेत्रुस हमें याद दिलाते हैं कि हम जीवित पत्थरों की तरह हैं और ईश्वर हमें एक आध्यात्मिक भवन के रूप में निर्मित कर रहे हैं। प्रभु ने हमें चुना है ताकि हम उनके अद्भुत कार्यों की घोषणा करें। इसलिए हमारा जीवन विश्वास, सेवा और साक्ष्य का जीवन होना चाहिए।
येसु हमें यह भी बताते हैं कि जो उन पर विश्वास करता है, वह महान कार्य करेगा, क्योंकि पवित्र आत्मा उसकी सहायता करेगा। इसलिए हमें साहस के साथ अपने विश्वास को जीना है और प्रेम, सेवा तथा दया के द्वारा प्रभु की उपस्थिति को संसार में प्रकट करना है।
आइए आज हम प्रार्थना करें कि हमारा विश्वास और दृढ़ हो, हम येसु को अपने जीवन का मार्ग, सत्य और जीवन स्वीकार करें तथा हर दिन उनके पीछे चलने का साहस प्राप्त करें। आमेन॥
“Jesus – The Way, the Truth, and the Life”
In today’s Gospel, Jesus comforts His disciples who are troubled and anxious. He says to them, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.” These words remind us that in moments of fear, uncertainty, and difficulty, we are called to place our trust in the Lord.
Jesus assures His followers that He is going to prepare a place for them in His Father’s house. This gives us hope in eternal life and reminds us that our journey does not end in this world. God desires that we be with Him forever in His heavenly kingdom.
The Lord declares, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Through these words, Jesus teaches us that He alone leads us to God. He is the source of truth and the giver of true life. By following Him, we find direction, purpose, and lasting peace.
In the second reading, Saint Peter reminds us that we are like living stones being built into a spiritual house. God has chosen us to proclaim His mighty works and to reflect His light in the world. Therefore, our lives should be a witness of faith, service, and holiness.
Jesus also promises that those who believe in Him will do great works through the power of the Holy Spirit. We are therefore called to live our faith courageously and to reveal Christ’s presence through love, kindness, and service to others.
Let us pray today that our faith in Jesus may grow stronger. May we accept Him as our way, our truth, and our life, and may we follow Him faithfully every day. Amen.
