“अनन्त प्रभु में अपने विश्वास को गहरा करें”
चालीसा काल की इस आध्यात्मिक यात्रा में हमें अपने विश्वास को गहरा करने और अपने जीवन में ईश्वर की उपस्थिति को पहचानने के लिए आमंत्रित किया जाता है।
एक छोटी-सी कहानी हमें इस सत्य की याद दिलाती है। एक बालक ने कुछ घरों पर सितारे लगे हुए देखे, जो युद्ध में भेजे गए पुत्रों के प्रतीक थे। जब उसने आकाश की ओर देखा तो कहा, “ईश्वर ने भी अपना पुत्र दिया होगा, क्योंकि उसके घर की खिड़की में भी एक सितारा चमक रहा है।” वास्तव में, ईश्वर ने हमें अपना सबसे बड़ा उपहार दिया है—अपने पुत्र येसु मसीह को।
आज के सुसमाचार में येसु अपने विषय में एक गहरा सत्य प्रकट करते हैं: “इब्राहीम के उत्पन्न होने के पहले से मैं हूँ।” इन शब्दों के द्वारा येसु केवल अपने अस्तित्व की नहीं, बल्कि अपनी दिव्यता की घोषणा करते हैं। “मैं हूँ” वही पवित्र नाम है जिसे ईश्वर ने पुराने विधान में प्रकट किया था। इस प्रकार येसु स्वयं को सच्चा ईश्वर घोषित करते हैं।
लेकिन बहुतों के लिए इस सत्य को स्वीकार करना कठिन था। उन्होंने येसु पर विश्वास करने के बजाय उन्हें अस्वीकार कर दिया और पत्थर उठाकर मारने तक का प्रयास किया। यह हमें याद दिलाता है कि सत्य और पवित्रता का संसार में अक्सर विरोध होता है।
येसु प्रेम और सत्य से परिपूर्ण थे, फिर भी उन्हें गलत समझा गया और अस्वीकार किया गया। उनके अनुयायी होने के नाते हमें भी कभी-कभी सही बात के लिए खड़े होने पर कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ सकता है। विश्वास केवल सांत्वना नहीं, बल्कि दृढ़ निश्चय और धैर्य का नाम है।
आज हम अपने आप से पूछें: क्या हम सचमुच येसु को ईश्वर का पुत्र मानते हैं? क्या हम उनके प्रकाश को अपने जीवन में चमकने देते हैं? आइए हम अपने विश्वास में दृढ़ बने रहें और उस प्रभु पर भरोसा करें जो कल, आज और सदा एक समान है।
हमारे उज्ज्वल तारे येसु मसीह हमारे हृदयों में सदैव चमकते रहें, हमें मार्ग दिखाएँ, हमें शक्ति दें और हमें अनन्त जीवन की ओर ले चलें।
“Deepening Our Faith in the Eternal Lord”
As we journey through Lent, we are invited to deepen our faith and recognize the presence of God in our lives.
A simple story reminds us of this truth. A child once noticed stars displayed on homes to signify sons given for war. Looking up at the evening sky, he exclaimed, “God must have given His Son too—He has a Star in His window.” Indeed, God has given us His greatest gift—His Son, Jesus Christ.
In today’s Gospel, Jesus reveals a profound truth about Himself: “Before Abraham was, I AM.” With these words, Jesus reveals His divine identity. “I AM” is the sacred name of God revealed in the Old Testament. By using it, Jesus declares that He is truly God.
Many people found this truth difficult to accept. Instead of believing in Him, they rejected Him and even picked up stones to kill Him. This reminds us that truth and holiness are often opposed by the world.
Jesus, though full of love and truth, was misunderstood and rejected. As His followers, we too may face difficulties when we stand for what is right. Faith is not only about comfort; it is about conviction and perseverance.
Today we are invited to reflect: Do we truly believe in Jesus as the Son of God? Do we allow His light to shine in our lives? Let us remain firm in faith, trusting in the One who is eternal—yesterday, today, and forever.
May Jesus, our Bright Star, always shine in our hearts, guiding us, strengthening us, and leading us to eternal life.
