“Holiness, Integrity and Waiting for the Lord”
आज के दोनों पाठ हमें एक बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण संदेश देते हैं—हमारा जीवन प्रभु की प्रतीक्षा, पवित्रता और ईमानदारी में आधारित होना चाहिए।
प्रेरित पेत्रुस हमें याद दिलाते हैं कि प्रभु का दिन आएगा और हमें उसके आगमन के लिए हमेशा तैयार रहना चाहिए।
यह तैयारी केवल बाहरी नहीं, बल्कि हमारे हृदय, मन और कर्मों की पवित्रता में भी होनी चाहिए।
पवित्रता का मतलब है ईश्वर की इच्छा के अनुसार जीना—दया, करुणा और सत्य के मार्ग पर चलना।
सुसमाचार में जब येसु से कर के बारे में पूछा गया, तो उन्होंने बुद्धिमत्ता और सच्चाई से उत्तर दिया।
इससे हमें सीख मिलती है कि संसार की चालबाज़ियों में फँसे बिना हमें ईमानदारी और न्याय का पालन करना चाहिए।
हमारे दैनिक जीवन में भी हमें बार-बार निर्णय लेने होते हैं जहाँ हमें सोचना चाहिए: क्या यह ईश्वर की दृष्टि में सही है?
जब हम ईश्वर के प्रेम और मार्गदर्शन में चलते हैं, तब हम न केवल स्वयं पवित्र बनते हैं बल्कि दूसरों के लिए प्रेरणा भी बनते हैं।
यही हमारे जीवन का सच्चा उद्देश्य है—पवित्रता, ईमानदारी और प्रभु की प्रतीक्षा में जीना।
“Holiness, Integrity and Waiting for the Lord”
Both of today’s readings give us a very important message: our lives must be rooted in waiting for the Lord, in holiness, and in integrity.
Peter reminds us that the Day of the Lord will come, and we must always be ready for His coming.
This readiness is not merely external preparation, but the holiness of our hearts, minds, and actions.
Holiness means living according to God’s will—walking in the path of mercy, compassion, and truth.
In the Holy Gospel, when Jesus is questioned about paying taxes, He responds with wisdom and truth.
We learn from this that we must not be trapped by the tricks of the world but remain faithful to honesty and justice.
In our daily lives, we often face situations where we must ask: “Is this right in God’s eyes?”
When we walk in God’s love and guidance, we become not only holy ourselves but also a source of inspiration for others.
This is the true purpose of our lives: to live in holiness, integrity, and constant readiness for the Lord.
