“ईश्वर के राज्य की खोज”
प्रिय भाइयों और बहनों, आज के पाठ हमें ईश्वर की बुद्धि और उसके राज्य की सर्वोच्चता की याद दिलाते हैं।
राजाओं के प्रथम ग्रंथ 3:5, 7-12 में राजा सुलेमान प्रभु से बुद्धि माँगते हैं। उन्होंने न धन माँगा, न राज्य की शक्ति, बल्कि सत्य और असत्य को पहचानने तथा अपनी प्रजा का न्यायपूर्ण शासन करने के लिए बुद्धि माँगी।
संत मत्ती 13:44-52 में येसु ईश्वर के राज्य की तुलना छिपे हुए खजाने और बहुमूल्य मोती से करते हैं, जिसके लिए व्यक्ति सब कुछ बेच देने को तैयार हो जाता है।
ये दोनों पाठ हमें याद दिलाते हैं कि हमें सांसारिक प्रलोभनों में नहीं फंसना चाहिए, बल्कि ईश्वर के राज्य की खोज करनी चाहिए, जो हमारे जीवन का सबसे बड़ा खजाना है। जो ईश्वर की शिक्षाओं को प्राथमिकता देते हैं, असत्य को छोड़कर सत्य के मार्ग पर चलते हैं, प्रभु उनकी हर परिस्थिति में साथ देते हैं और आशीष प्रदान करते हैं।
“Seeking the Kingdom of God”
Dear brothers and sisters, Today’s readings remind us of the importance of divine wisdom and the supreme value of God’s Kingdom.
In the first reading from 1 Kings 3:5, 7-12, King Solomon humbly asks God for wisdom to discern between good and evil and to govern his people justly, rather than requesting wealth or power.
In the Gospel from Matthew 13:44-52, Jesus compares the Kingdom of Heaven to a hidden treasure and a pearl of great price — worth selling everything to obtain.
Both readings urge us not to be lured by worldly temptations but to seek God’s Kingdom above all else. When we prioritize God’s teachings, walk in truth, and apply them in our daily lives, the Lord walks with us and blesses us in every circumstance.
