"ईश्वर की उपस्थिति और सच्चे संबंध"

आज के पहले पाठ में हम देखते हैं कि कैसे राजा दाऊद ईश्वर की मंजूषा को येरूसालेम लाते हैं। यह एक बहुत ही पवित्र और आनंदमय अवसर था। दाऊद ने नाचते हुए, पूरे हृदय से ईश्वर की स्तुति की। यह नाचना केवल बाहरी आनंद नहीं था, बल्कि यह दिखाता है कि जब ईश्वर हमारे जीवन में उपस्थित होते हैं, तो हमारा पूरा अस्तित्व आनंदित होता है।

दाऊद का यह कार्य हमें सिखाता है कि जब हम ईश्वर की उपस्थिति को अपने जीवन में स्थान देते हैं, तो हमें उसे केवल शब्दों से नहीं, बल्कि अपने पूरे जीवन से, अपने कार्यों और भावनाओं से भी आदर देना चाहिए। दाऊद ने न केवल आराधना की, बल्कि लोगों को भोजन बाँटकर, उनके साथ आनंद साझा किया। ईश्वर की उपस्थिति केवल प्रार्थना स्थान तक ही सीमित नहीं है, वह हमारे बीच है—हमारे परिवारों में, समाज में, जब हम प्रेम और सेवा के साथ जीते हैं।

सुसमाचार में येसु कहते है "जो ईश्वर की इच्छा पूरी करता है, वही है मेरा भाई, मेरी बहन और मेरी माता।" येसु यह नहीं कह रहे कि परिवार महत्वपूर्ण नहीं है, बल्कि वह यह सिखा रहे हैं कि आत्मिक संबंध, विश्वास और आज्ञाकारिता के द्वारा हम ईश्वर के परिवार में सम्मिलित होते हैं।

प्यारे भाईयो और बहनों, प्रार्थना करे कि प्रभु हमें दाऊद की तरह हृदय से भक्ति और आनंद की भावना दे। हमें येसु की तरह पिता की इच्छा को पहचानने और उस पर चलने की समझ और सामर्थ्य दे, ताकि हम भी उस परिवार का हिस्सा बन सकें।

“God’s Presence and True Relationships”

In today’s first reading, we see how King David brings the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem. It was a sacred and joyful occasion. David danced with all his heart, praising God. This dancing was not merely an outward expression of joy, but a sign that when God is present in our lives, our entire being rejoices.

David’s actions teach us that when we make room for God’s presence in our lives, we must honour Him not only with words, but through our entire lives—through our actions and emotions as well. David did not just worship; he also shared that joy with others by distributing food and celebrating with the people. God’s presence is not limited to places of prayer; He is among us whenever we live with love and serve one another.

In the Gospel, Jesus says, “Whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.” Jesus is teaching us that spiritual relationships—those formed through faith and obedience—bring us into the true family of God. It is essential for us not to be Christians in name only, but to recognize God's will and fulfil it in our daily lives.

Dear brothers and sisters, let us pray that the Lord may grant us, like David, a heart full of devotion and joyful praise. May He give us the understanding and strength to recognize and follow the will of the Father, so that we too may be part of God’s true family.
