आज के पाठ हमें ईश्वर के शाश्वत राज्य और उसकी अपरिवर्तनीय शक्ति की याद दिलाते हैं। दानिएल के दर्शन में हम देखते हैं कि संसार की बड़ी-बड़ी शक्तियाँ और साम्राज्य (चार जानवर) आते हैं और चले जाते हैं, लेकिन अंत में विजय "मानव-पुत्र" की होती है, जिसे ईश्वर अनंत प्रभुत्व और महिमा प्रदान करते हैं।

सुसमाचार में, येसु हमें अंजीर के पेड़ का उदाहरण देते हुए सचेत रहने की शिक्षा देते हैं। जैसे पेड़ की नई कोपलें आने पर हम जानते हैं कि वसंत ऋतु निकट है, वैसे ही इन चिह्नों को देखकर हमें समझना चाहिए कि ईश्वर का राज्य निकट है। येसु हमें आश्वासन देते हैं कि "आकाश और पृथ्वी टल जाएंगे, परंतु मेरे शब्द कभी नहीं टलेंगे।"

आज का चिंतन हमें बुलाता है कि हम अपना विश्वास उन चीजों पर न टिकाएं जो अस्थायी हैं, बल्कि उस ईश्वर के वचन पर भरोसा रखें जो शाश्वत है।

Today’s readings remind us of the eternal kingdom of God and His unchanging power. In Daniel’s vision, we see that the great powers and empires of this world (the four beasts) come and go, but in the end, victory belongs to the "Son of Man," to whom God grants everlasting dominion and glory.

In the Gospel, Jesus uses the parable of the fig tree to teach us to remain watchful. Just as the budding of leaves signals that summer is near, these signs remind us that the Kingdom of God is close at hand. Jesus assures us that "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away."

Today's reflection invites us not to place our trust in worldly things that are temporary, but to rely on the Word of God which is eternal and steadfast.
