प्रिय भाइयों और बहनों, आज के पवित्र पाठ हमें प्रभु येसु की महान और सार्वभौमिक बुलाहट की याद दिलाते हैं। नबी इसायाह हमें उस सेवक की झलक दिखाते हैं जिसे ईश्वर ने न केवल इस्राएल को पुनःस्थापित करने के लिए, बल्कि सारी जातियों के लिए ज्योति बनने के लिए भेजा है। यह सेवक कोई और नहीं, बल्कि स्वयं येसु मसीह हैं।

सुसमाचार में, जब योहन बपतिस्मा येसु को आते हुए देखता है और कहा “देखो, ईश्वर का मेमना, जो संसार के पाप हर लेता है।” यह एक शक्तिशाली घोषणा है—येसु केवल एक शिक्षक या नबी नहीं हैं; वह ईश्वर का चुना हुआ पुत्र हैं, जो सारी मानवता के उद्धार के लिए आया है।

योहन यह भी साक्ष्य देता है कि उसने आत्मा को येसु पर उतरते और उस पर ठहरते हुए देखा। यह इस बात की पुष्टि है कि येसु ही वह अभिषिक्त प्रभु हैं जिसे ईश्वर ने सबके लिए भेजा है, न कि केवल एक जाति या राष्ट्र के लिए।

यह हमारे जीवन के लिए बहुत महत्त्वपूर्ण सन्देश है। यह हमें स्मरण दिलाता है कि ईश्वर का प्रेम और उद्धार हर व्यक्ति के लिए है—भले ही उसकी पृष्ठभूमि, भाषा, या इतिहास कुछ भी हो। कोई भी ऐसा पाप नहीं, कोई दूरी इतनी बड़ी नहीं, जिसे ईश्वर की दया पार न कर सके।

This passage reveals the mission of the servant—not just to restore Israel but to be a light for the whole world. This servant is a prophetic foreshadowing of Jesus Christ, the one through whom God’s glory, salvation, and light are revealed to all nations.

John the Baptist sees Jesus coming and proclaims, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.” He testifies that he saw the Spirit descend upon Jesus and remain on Him. John confirms that Jesus is the Chosen One of God—the one who has come not only for Israel but to take away the sin of the whole world.

This has powerful implications for our own lives. First, it reminds us that God’s love and salvation are for everyone, no matter who we are or where we come from. There is no boundary too wide for God’s mercy to reach.
