जीवन में कई बार हम निराशा, खालीपन और सुनेपन का अनुभव करते हैं। हममें से कई लोग ऐसे समय से गुजरते हैं, जब लगता है कि हमारी प्रार्थनाएँ अनसुनी रह गई हैं। लेकिन आज का वचन हमें सिखाता है कि ईश्वर हमारी आहों और संघर्षों को सुनता है और हमें बुलाता है ताकि हम उसके महान उद्देश्य का हिस्सा बनें।

अन्ना गहरी पीड़ा में थी। उसके जीवन में दो बड़े संघर्ष थे: व्यक्तिगत दुःख – उसे संतान नहीं थी। सामाजिक अपमान – उसकी प्रतिद्वंद्वी पेनिन्ना उसे ताने देती थी। हम भी अपने जीवन में आशाओं के टूटने, सपनों के अधूरे रहने और लोगों के तानों का सामना करते हैं। लेकिन अन्ना ने हार नहीं मानी। उसने अपनी पीड़ा को ईश्वर के चरणों में रखा। जब मनुष्य आपको नीचा दिखाता है, तब ईश्वर आपको ऊँचा उठाने की योजना बना रहा होता है।

इसी तरह, येसु ने साधारण मछुआरों को बुलाया—सिमोन, अन्द्रेयस, याकूब और योहन को। उनका काम अच्छा चल रहा था, परिवार था, जीवन सामान्य था। फिर भी, जब येसु ने बुलाया, उन्होंने सबकुछ छोड़कर उनका अनुसरण किया। आज भी ईश्वर हर किसी को बुलाता है। शायद आपके दिल में भी बार-बार यह आवाज आती है: आओ मेरे पास, मैं तुम्हें एक नए जीवन की ओर ले चलूँगा। लेकिन कई बार हम सुरक्षा, संपत्ति और समाज के डर में उलझे रहते हैं। येसु का बुलावा परिवर्तन की ओर बुलाता है। साधारण मछुआरे जब येसु का अनुसरण करते हैं, तो असाधारण बन जाते हैं।

हम अन्ना की तरह बनें—दुःख में भी ईश्वर से चिपके रहें। अपने दुःख को शिकायत में नहीं, बल्कि प्रार्थना में बदलें। शिष्यों की तरह बनें—जब ईश्वर बुलाए, तो अपने आराम क्षेत्र से बाहर निकलकर उसके पीछे चलें। आज का संसार हमें व्यस्तता, निराशा और उलझनों में डाल देता है। लेकिन येसु हमें पुकारते हैं: "मेरे पीछे चले आओ। मैं तुम्हें मनुष्यों के मछुए बनाऊँगा।" इसलिए प्रतिदिन अपने दुःख और इच्छाओं को ईश्वर के सामने रखिए। जीवन में आने वाले अवसरों में उसकी आवाज को पहचानिए। विश्वास के साथ कदम बढ़ाइए—चाहे रास्ता कितना भी अनिश्चित क्यों न लगे।

In life, we often experience despair, emptiness, and a feeling of being unheard. Many of us go through times when it seems our prayers remain unanswered. But today’s readings teach us that God hears our sighs and struggles and calls us to be part of His great purpose.

Hannah was in deep pain. She faced two major struggles: personal sorrow—she had no child. Social humiliation—her rival Peninnah taunted her. We too face the breaking of hopes, unfulfilled dreams, and people’s taunts in our lives. But Hannah did not give up. She placed her pain at God’s feet. When humans put you down, God is planning to lift you up.

Similarly, Jesus called ordinary fishermen—Simon, Andrew, James, and John. Their work was going well, they had families, life was normal. Yet, when Jesus called, they left everything and followed Him. Even today, God calls everyone. Perhaps in your heart too, this voice comes repeatedly: Come to me, I will lead you to a new life. But often we get entangled in security, possessions, and fear of society. Jesus’ call invites us to transformation. Ordinary fishermen became extraordinary when they followed Jesus.

Let us be like Hannah—cling to God even in sorrow. Turn our pain not into complaints, but into prayer. Be like the disciples—when God calls, step out of our comfort zone and follow Him. Today’s world throws us into busyness, despair, and confusion. But Jesus calls us: “Come after me. I will make you fishers of men.” So, daily place your sorrows and desires before God. Recognize His voice in the opportunities that come in life. Step forward in faith—even if the path seems uncertain.
