संत योहन हमें सिखाते हैं कि जब हम ईश्वर की इच्छा के अनुसार कुछ माँगते हैं, तो वह हमारी सुनता है। आज की दुनिया में लोग अनेक इच्छाएँ रखते हैं जैसे धन, सफलता, पद आदि लेकिन क्या हम ईश्वर की इच्छा जानने की कोशिश करते हैं? या केवल अपनी ही इच्छा उसके सामने रखते हैं?

जब आप ईमानदारी से उसके वचन के अनुसार प्रार्थना करते हैं, तो ईश्वर आपको उत्तर देता है। जब हम दूसरों के लिए प्रार्थना करते हैं, तो हम उसके प्रेम में साथ-साथ बढ़ते हैं। इस संसार में बहुत प्रलोभन और बुराइयाँ हैं, परन्तु मसीह में विश्वास रखने वाला व्यक्ति सुरक्षित है, क्योंकि शैतान उसे छू नहीं सकता। यह वचन हमारे जीवन के लिए अत्यंत गहरा संदेश देता है।

योहन बपतिस्ता जानते थे कि अब उनकी भूमिका घट रही है और मसीह को आगे आना है। यही नम्रता आज हमें सीखनी है। हमारी दुनिया में लोग मैं, मेरा, मेरे में उलझे रहते हैं। हर कोई चाहता है कि उसकी पहचान और उसका नाम ऊँचा हो। लेकिन योहन हमें सिखाते हैं कि मसीह की महिमा हमारे जीवन में सबसे बड़ी होनी चाहिए। जब हम अपने अहंकार को घटाते हैं, तब ईश्वर का कार्य हमारे जीवन में बढ़ने लगता है।

इसलिए प्रार्थना में विश्वास रखें और जीवन में येसु को बढ़ने दें। अपने लिए ही नहीं, बल्कि दूसरों के लिए भी प्रार्थना करें। अपने जीवन में अहंकार छोड़कर येसु को प्रथम स्थान दें। यही हमारे जीवन की सच्ची सफलता है—येसु के लिए जीना और उसकी महिमा में चलना।

Saint John teaches us that when we ask according to God’s will, He listens to us. In today’s world, people have many desires—money, success, positions—but do we try to understand God’s will, or do we only present our own desires before Him?

When you pray sincerely according to His Word, God answers you. When we pray for others, we grow together in His love. The world is full of temptations and evils, yet the person who trusts in Christ is safe, for Satan cannot touch them. This message carries a profound lesson for our lives.

John the Baptist understood that his role was diminishing and that Christ was to take centre stage. This humility is what we need to learn today. In our world, people are caught up in “I, mine, and me.” Everyone wants recognition and honour. But John teaches us that the glory of Christ should be the greatest in our lives. When we reduce our pride, God’s work begins to grow in our lives.

Therefore, have faith in prayer and allow Jesus to increase in your life. Pray not only for yourself but also for others. Let go of pride and give Jesus the first place in your life. This is the true success of our lives—living for Jesus and walking in His glory.
