“जीवन चुनो: ईश्वर की ओर लौटने का आह्वान”
आज के पाठ खासकर शहरों में रहने वाले युवाओं के लिए हैं, जो हर दिन अनेक विकल्पों और चुनौतियों का सामना करते हैं। पहले पाठ (विधि-विवरण 30:15-20) में ईश्वर हमें जीवन या मृत्यु, आशीर्वाद या शाप का स्पष्ट चुनाव करने के लिए कहते हैं। वे हमें जीवन चुनने और अपना प्रेम दिखाने की प्रेरणा देते हैं।
सुसमाचार (लूकस 9:22-25) में येसु बताते हैं कि उनके पीछे चलना कई बार कठिनाइयाँ झेलने का रास्ता है—अपना स्वार्थ छोड़ना और सच्चा जीवन पाना है। पुराने विधान में, सूक्ति ग्रन्थ 3:5-6 हमें पूरी हृदय से ईश्वर पर भरोसा करने और उसके मार्ग पर चलने की सीख देता है। स्तोत्र ग्रन्थ 1:1-3 बताती है कि जो लोग ईश्वर के नियमों में आनन्द लेते हैं, वे जल के पास लगे वृक्ष की तरह फलते-फूलते हैं। और यिर्मयाह 29:11 हमें आश्वस्त करता है कि ईश्वर हमारे लिए आशा और भविष्य की योजना बनाता है, चाहे जीवन कैसा भी हो।
शहर के युवा, सफलता, सोशल मीडिया और पहचान के दबाव में, इन पाठों से पूछें: क्या मेरे फैसले मुझे सच्चे जीवन की ओर ले जा रहे हैं? इसे स्वीकार करना और बदलना साहस मांगता है। हमें उन बातों से दूर होना होगा जो हमें ईश्वर से दूर ले जाती हैं और उस जीवन को अपनाना होगा जो वह हमें देना चाहता है।
आइए, आज परिवर्तन का एक क्षण बनाएं—जीवन चुनें, विश्वास चुनें और ईश्वर पर भरोसा करें कि वह हमें सही मार्ग पर ले चलेगा।
“Choose Life: A Call to Turn to God”
Today’s readings speak directly to young people living in cities, facing many choices and challenges every day. In the first reading (Deuteronomy 30:15-20), God sets before us a clear choice—life or death, blessing or curse. God urges us to choose life by loving Him and obeying His ways.
In the Gospel (Luke 9:22-25), Jesus tells His disciples that following Him means sometimes carrying the cross, losing selfish desires, and finding true life in Him. In the Old Testament, Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches us to trust God with all our heart and let Him guide our paths. Psalm 1:1-3 shows that those who delight in God’s law are like trees planted by water, always fruitful. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God plans hope and a future for us, even when life feels uncertain.
For city youth, caught in pressures of success, social media, and identity, these readings invite honest introspection: Are the choices leading us closer to true life or away from it? It takes courage to turn away from distractions and selfishness and embrace the life God offers.
Let this day be a moment of conversion; choose life, choose faith, and trust God to lead you on the right path.
