“ईश्वर की इच्छा के प्रति आज्ञाकारिता बन कर ईश्वर के निकट आना”
आज प्रभु येसु हमें ईश्वर की इच्छा के प्रति आज्ञाकारिता के लिए आह्वान कर रहे हैं। आज के सुसमाचार में हम पढ़ते हैं कि फरीसी और शास्त्री पुरखों की परम्पराओं और रीति-रिवाजों के पालन को अधिक महत्व देते हैं और ईश्वर की आज्ञाओं को नज़रअंदाज़ करते हैं। इसलिए प्रभु येसु कहते हैं, “ये लोग मुख से मेरा आदर करते हैं, परन्तु इनका हृदय मुझसे दूर है।”
येसु स्पष्ट करते हैं कि केवल बाहरी नियमों को निभाने से नहीं, बल्कि ईश्वर की इच्छा का हृदय से पालन करने से ही हम ईश्वर के निकट आ सकते हैं। आज हम देखते हैं कि लोग मिस्सा पूजा में भाग लेने आते हैं या धार्मिक रीति-रिवाजों में सम्मिलित होते हैं, परंतु उनका हृदय अपने काम-काज या सांसारिक सुख-समृद्धि में लगा रहता है। उनका हृदय ईश्वर से दूर रहता है। केवल बाहरी धार्मिक रीति-रिवाजों से ईश्वर प्रसन्न नहीं होते। बल्कि, ईश्वर हमसे आज्ञाकारिता, विश्वास और प्रेम की अपेक्षा करते हैं। सच्ची धार्मिकता तब प्रकट होती है जब हम अपने जीवन को ईश्वर की इच्छा के अनुरूप ढालते हैं।
आज के आधुनिक जीवन में, व्यस्तता और भौतिकवाद के बीच कई बार हमारी आस्था केवल औपचारिकता तक सीमित रह जाती है। येसु हमें याद दिलाते हैं कि ईश्वर हमारे बाहरी धार्मिक रीति-रिवाजों से अधिक हमारे हृदय को देखते हैं। हम समूएल के पहले ग्रन्थ 16:7 में पढ़ते हैं, “प्रभु मनुष्य की तरह विचार नहीं करता। मनुष्य तो बाहरी रूप-रंग देखता है, किन्तु प्रभु हृदय देखता है।” इसलिए हमें अपनी इच्छाओं और योजनाओं को ईश्वर की योजना के अनुसार ढालने की आवश्यकता है। जब हम नम्र होकर उनकी इच्छा को स्वीकार करते हैं और उनकी आज्ञाओं के अनुसार जीवन जीते हैं, तब हम वास्तव में ईश्वर के निकट आते हैं।
आइए, प्रभु से आशीष एवं कृपा माँगें कि हम ईश्वर की इच्छा के प्रति आज्ञाकारी बनकर जीवन व्यतीत कर सकें।
“Drawing near to God through obedience to His will”
Today, the Lord Jesus calls us to obedience to God's will.
In the Gospel, we hear about the Pharisees and the scribes, who gave greater importance to traditions and human customs than to God's commandments. That is why Jesus says, “These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.”
Jesus makes it clear that we do not come close to God by keeping only external rules and rituals. True closeness to God comes from obeying His will with our hearts. Even today, many people attend Mass or take part in religious practices, but their hearts remain preoccupied with work, worries, or worldly success. God is not pleased with empty rituals. What He desires is obedience, faith, and love. True religion is revealed when we shape our lives according to God's will.
In our modern world, surrounded by busyness and materialism, our faith can easily become a mere formality. But Jesus reminds us that God looks not at outward appearances but at the heart. As we read in 1 Samuel 16:7, “The Lord does not see as mortals see; they look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” Therefore, we must learn to surrender our own desires and plans to God's will. When we humbly accept His guidance and live according to His commandments, then we truly draw near to Him.
Let us pray for God's blessing and grace, that we may live in obedience to His will and remain close to Him all our days.
