“प्रभु येसु के लिए ललायित रहें”
आज प्रभु येसु हमें ईश्वर के लिए ललायित रहने के लिए आह्वान कर रहे हैं।
आज के पहले पाठ में हम पढ़ते हैं कि प्रभु के विधान की मंजूषा को मंदिर में प्रतिष्ठित किया गया। विधान की मंजूषा ईश्वर की उपस्थिति का प्रतीक था। जब विधान की मंजूषा को परमपवित्र स्थान में रखा गया, तो ईश्वर की महिमा से पूरा मंदिर भर गया।
आज के सुसमाचार में हम पढ़ते हैं कि जब येसु गेनेसरेत के तट पर पहुँचे, तो लोगों ने तुरंत पहचान लिया कि यह वही प्रभु हैं जो चंगाई और जीवन देते हैं। वे येसु के लिए इतने ललायित थे कि जहाँ कहीं उनके आने का समाचार मिलता, लोग दौड़े चले आते थे। लेकिन बहुत से लोग केवल शारीरिक चंगाई के लिए आते थे। यह हमें सोचने के लिए प्रेरित करता है: हम येसु के पास किस लिए आते हैं? क्या हम वास्तव में येसु के लिए ललायित हैं?
जब तक हम प्रभु के लिए भूखे और प्यासे नहीं रहते, तब तक हम उसकी आशीष और शक्ति का पूर्ण अनुभव नहीं कर सकते। आज के समय में हम अक्सर संसार की वस्तुओं, पद-प्रतिष्ठा, धन और सुख-सुविधाओं के पीछे ललायित रहते हैं, लेकिन सच्ची तृप्ति केवल प्रभु में ही है। जब हम प्रभु येसु के लिए ललायित रहेंगे, तब हमारा हृदय भी उनकी महिमा से भर जाएगा।
आइए, हम अपने जीवन में प्रभु येसु के लिए सदैव ललायित रहें।
“Long for the Lord Jesus”
Today the Lord Jesus invites us to remain eager and hungry for God.
In the first reading, we hear about the Ark of the Covenant being placed in the temple. The Ark was the sign of God’s presence among His people. When it was placed in the Holy of Holies, the glory of the Lord filled the temple.
In today’s Gospel, we read that when Jesus arrived at the shore of Gennesaret, the people immediately recognized Him as the One who brings healing and life. They were so eager for Him that they ran wherever they heard He was present. Yet many came only for physical healing. This leads us to reflect: Why do we come to Jesus? Are we truly longing for Him Himself, or only for what He can give us?
As long as we do not hunger and thirst for the Lord, we cannot fully experience His blessing and power. Too often, our hearts long for worldly things—status, wealth, comfort, and pleasure. Yet true satisfaction is found only in the Lord. When we remain longing for Jesus, our hearts too will be filled with His glory.
Let us pray that our lives may be marked by a deep longing for the Lord Jesus, so that His presence may fill us with grace and strength.
