“पवित्र आत्मा की सामर्थ्य से सुसमाचार”
आज के पाठ हमें सिखाते हैं कि सुसमाचार की प्रभावशीलता मानवीय बुद्धि या प्रभावशाली शब्दों में नहीं, बल्कि पवित्र आत्मा की सामर्थ्य में निहित है। संत पौलुस कुरिंथियों को स्मरण कराते हैं कि उनका प्रचार विद्वता या वाक्पटुता पर आधारित नहीं था, बल्कि आत्मा की शक्ति पर, ताकि विश्वास मनुष्यों की बुद्धि पर नहीं, बल्कि ईश्वर की सामर्थ्य पर टिका रहे। यह हमें भी प्रेरित करता है कि हम अपनी क्षमताओं पर नहीं, बल्कि ईश्वर के अनुग्रह पर भरोसा रखें।
सुसमाचार में प्रभु येसु नाज़रेत के आराधनालय में घोषणा करते हैं कि प्रभु का आत्मा उन पर है और उन्हें गरीबों को शुभ समाचार सुनाने, बन्दियों को मुक्ति, अन्धों को दृष्टि तथा पीड़ितों को स्वतंत्रता देने के लिए अभिषिक्त किया गया है। यद्यपि उनके अपने नगर के लोगों ने उन्हें अस्वीकार किया, फिर भी उन्होंने अपने मिशन को नहीं छोड़ा। आज हम भी उसी मिशन में सहभागी हैं। जब हम प्रेम, न्याय, दया और सत्य के साथ जीवन जीते हैं, तब हम मसीह के सुसमाचार के साक्षी बनते हैं। आइए, हम पवित्र आत्मा की सामर्थ्य पर भरोसा रखें और साहसपूर्वक अपने जीवन तथा वचनों से प्रभु की मुक्ति का संदेश संसार तक पहुँचाएँ।
“Proclaiming the Gospel in the Power of the Spirit”
Today's readings remind us that the effectiveness of the Gospel does not depend on human eloquence or worldly wisdom but on the power of the Holy Spirit. St. Paul tells the Corinthians that his preaching relied not on persuasive speech but on the Spirit's power, so that their faith would rest not on human wisdom but on the saving power of God. This challenges us to place our confidence not in ourselves but in the grace that God provides.
In the Gospel, Jesus proclaims in the synagogue of Nazareth that the Spirit of the Lord has anointed Him to bring good news to the poor, freedom to captives, sight to the blind, and liberation to the oppressed. Although He experiences rejection in His own hometown, He remains faithful to the mission entrusted to Him by the Father. We, too, share in this mission through our baptism. Whenever we proclaim the truth, serve the poor, defend justice, and offer hope to those in need, we continue Christ's saving work. May the Holy Spirit strengthen us to proclaim the Gospel with humility, courage, and unwavering faith.
