“नम्रता, विश्वास और ईश्वर पर भरोसा”
आज के पाठ हमें सिखाते हैं कि सच्चा मसीही जीवन नम्रता, विश्वास और ईश्वर पर पूर्ण निर्भरता का जीवन है। संत पौलुस स्मरण कराते हैं कि ईश्वर ने संसार की दृष्टि में निर्बलों, दीनों और तुच्छ समझे जाने वालों को चुनकर अपनी महिमा प्रकट की, ताकि कोई भी अपने सामर्थ्य, ज्ञान या प्रतिष्ठा पर घमंड न करे। हमारी वास्तविक पहचान और गौरव हमारी उपलब्धियों में नहीं, बल्कि मसीह के साथ हमारे संबंध में है।
सुसमाचार में प्रभु येसु हमें जीवन की चिंताओं से मुक्त होकर स्वर्गीय पिता पर भरोसा रखने का निमंत्रण देते हैं। जैसे पिता आकाश के पक्षियों और मैदान की कुमुदिनियों की देखभाल करते हैं, वैसे ही वे अपने बच्चों की भी चिंता करते हैं। आज जब हम संत योहन बपतिस्ता के शहादत दिवस को स्मरण करते हैं, उनका जीवन हमें सिखाता है कि ईश्वर के प्रति विश्वासयोग्य रहना संसार की स्वीकृति से अधिक महत्वपूर्ण है। आइए, हम घमंड और अनावश्यक चिंता को छोड़कर पहले ईश्वर के राज्य और उसकी धार्मिकता को खोजें। तब हमारा गर्व केवल मसीह में होगा और हमारा जीवन उसकी शांति से भर जाएगा।
“Humility, Trust, and Confidence in God”
Today's readings remind us that authentic Christian living is rooted in humility, faith, and complete dependence on God. St. Paul tells the Corinthians that God chose those whom the world considers weak, insignificant, and lowly to reveal His power, so that no one might boast before Him. Our true dignity and glory are found not in human achievements but in belonging to Christ and living according to His grace.
In the Gospel, Jesus invites us to cast aside anxiety and place our complete trust in our heavenly Father. Just as He provides for the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field with beauty, He will surely care for those who seek His Kingdom first. As we commemorate the Passion of St. John the Baptist today, we are reminded that faithful witness to God is worth more than worldly approval or security. May we live with humble hearts, free from pride and unnecessary worry, placing our confidence entirely in Christ, who is our wisdom, righteousness, and peace.
