“जागते रहो और विश्वासयोग्य बने रहो”
आज के पाठ हमें यह स्मरण दिलाते हैं कि मसीही जीवन प्रभु के पुनः आगमन की विश्वासपूर्ण प्रतीक्षा का जीवन है। संत पौलुस कुरिंथियों को यह याद दिलाते हैं कि ईश्वर ने उन्हें अपने अनुग्रह से समृद्ध किया है और मसीह में दृढ़ बने रहने के लिए आवश्यक सभी वरदान प्रदान किए हैं। इसलिए हर परिस्थिति में ईश्वर को धन्यवाद देना और उसके अनुग्रह पर भरोसा रखना हमारी बुलाहट है। जिसने हमें बुलाया है, वही हमें अंत तक विश्वासयोग्य बनाए रखेगा।
सुसमाचार में प्रभु येसु हमें जागते रहने और सदैव तैयार रहने की चेतावनी देते हैं। विश्वासयोग्य सेवक अपने स्वामी की अनुपस्थिति में भी ईमानदारी से अपना कार्य करता है, जबकि लापरवाह सेवक स्वामी की देरी का लाभ उठाकर अपने कर्तव्यों की उपेक्षा करता है। प्रभु हमें सिखाते हैं कि उनकी प्रतीक्षा निष्क्रिय नहीं, बल्कि सेवा, जिम्मेदारी और विश्वासयोग्यता से भरा जीवन है। आइए, हम प्रत्येक दिन इस प्रकार जिएँ कि यदि प्रभु आज आएँ, तो वे हमें अपने कार्य में निष्ठावान और तैयार पाएँ।
“Remain Watchful and Faithful”
Today's readings remind us that the Christian life is a faithful preparation for the Lord's return. St. Paul thanks God for the grace given to the Corinthians, assuring them that they have been enriched in Christ and strengthened with every spiritual gift as they await His coming. The God who has called us is faithful and will sustain us until the end. Therefore, our lives should always be marked by gratitude and trust in His grace.
In the Gospel, Jesus calls His disciples to remain watchful and ready. Through the parable of the faithful and unfaithful servant, He teaches that true discipleship is demonstrated through faithful service, even when the Master seems delayed. Christian waiting is never passive; it is an active life of responsibility, perseverance, and loving service. May we live each day with vigilance and fidelity, so that whenever the Lord comes, He may find us faithfully carrying out the mission entrusted to us.
