“विश्वास जो जीवन में दिखाई दे”
आज के पाठ हमें यह सिखाते हैं कि हमारा जीवन हमारी आस्था का सच्चा प्रतिबिंब होना चाहिए। संत पौलुस थेसलनीकियों को आलस्य और अनुशासनहीनता से सावधान करते हैं। वे याद दिलाते हैं कि उन्होंने स्वयं परिश्रम, आत्मनिर्भरता और अनुशासन का आदर्श प्रस्तुत किया। मसीही जीवन केवल विश्वास की घोषणा करने का नाम नहीं, बल्कि जिम्मेदारी, ईमानदारी और परिश्रम के साथ अपने कर्तव्यों को निभाने का जीवन है।
सुसमाचार में प्रभु येसु धर्मशास्त्रियों और फरीसियों की पाखंडपूर्ण धार्मिकता की कड़ी निंदा करते हैं। वे बाहर से धर्मी दिखाई देते थे, परन्तु उनके हृदय पाप, स्वार्थ और कपट से भरे थे। येसु हमें याद दिलाते हैं कि ईश्वर बाहरी दिखावे से अधिक हृदय की पवित्रता को देखता है। आज हमें अपने आप से पूछना चाहिए—क्या मेरा जीवन मेरे विश्वास की गवाही देता है? क्या मेरे शब्द और मेरे कर्म एक-दूसरे के अनुरूप हैं? आइए, हम प्रभु से प्रार्थना करें कि वे हमें ऐसा निर्मल हृदय दें, जिससे हमारा सम्पूर्ण जीवन उनकी महिमा का सच्चा साक्ष्य बन सके।
“A Faith Reflected in Life”
Today's readings remind us that our lives should be a genuine reflection of our faith. St. Paul warns the Thessalonians against idleness and disorderly living, pointing to his own example of hard work, discipline, and responsibility. Christian faith is not merely professed with words; it must be expressed through diligence, integrity, and faithful service in our daily responsibilities.
In the Gospel, Jesus strongly condemns the hypocrisy of the scribes and Pharisees, comparing them to whitewashed tombs—beautiful on the outside but filled with corruption within. The Lord teaches that God is not impressed by outward appearances but desires hearts that are sincere and pure. Today we are invited to examine ourselves: Do our actions reflect the faith we profess? Are our words and our lives consistent with the Gospel? May the Lord purify our hearts so that our lives may become authentic witnesses to His truth and love.
