“भीतर से शुद्ध, विश्वास में दृढ़”
आज के पाठ हमें सिखाते हैं कि सच्चा विश्वास केवल बाहरी धार्मिकता नहीं, बल्कि आंतरिक पवित्रता, सत्य और दृढ़ता में निहित है। संत पौलुस थेसलनीकियों को झूठी शिक्षाओं और अफवाहों से विचलित न होने की सलाह देते हैं। वे उन्हें सुसमाचार की शिक्षा में स्थिर रहने तथा प्रभु द्वारा दिए गए सत्य को दृढ़ता से थामे रखने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करते हैं। हमारा विश्वास ऐसा होना चाहिए जो परिस्थितियों, भय या भ्रम के कारण कभी डगमगाए नहीं।
सुसमाचार में प्रभु येसु फरीसियों और धर्मशास्त्रियों के पाखंड को उजागर करते हैं। वे बाहरी धार्मिक नियमों का पालन तो करते हैं, परन्तु न्याय, दया और विश्वासयोग्यता जैसी महत्वपूर्ण बातों की उपेक्षा करते हैं। प्रभु स्पष्ट कहते हैं कि पहले भीतर को शुद्ध करो, तभी बाहर भी शुद्ध होगा। आज हमें स्वयं से पूछना चाहिए—क्या हमारा धर्म केवल दिखावे तक सीमित है, या हमारा हृदय वास्तव में प्रभु के प्रेम से परिवर्तित हो रहा है? आइए, हम सत्य में दृढ़ रहें, अपने हृदय को शुद्ध करें और अपने जीवन द्वारा सुसमाचार की सच्ची गवाही दें।
“Pure Within, Firm in Faith”
Today's readings teach us that authentic faith is not merely about outward religious observances but about inner holiness, truth, and steadfastness. St. Paul warns the Thessalonians not to be disturbed by false teachings or misleading claims concerning the coming of the Lord. Instead, he urges them to remain firmly rooted in the Gospel they have received and to hold fast to the truth handed on to them.
In the Gospel, Jesus exposes the hypocrisy of the scribes and Pharisees. They are meticulous about external religious practices while neglecting the weightier matters of justice, mercy, and faithfulness. Christ teaches that genuine holiness begins with a purified heart: "First clean the inside of the cup, and then the outside also will be clean." Today we are invited to examine ourselves. Is our faith merely an outward display, or is it transforming us from within? May the Lord purify our hearts, strengthen us in His truth, and enable us to bear authentic witness through lives of integrity, faithfulness, and love.
