“विनम्रता और सेवा”
मत्ती 23:1-12 (धन्य कुँवारी माता मरियम – विश्व की रानी का)
येसु आज हमें सिखाते हैं कि सच्ची महानता पद, सम्मान या उपाधियों में नहीं, बल्कि विनम्रता और सेवा में है। माता मरियम, जिन्हें कलीसिया “विश्व की रानी” के रूप में सम्मान देती है, इस शिक्षा की सर्वोत्तम मिसाल हैं।
उन्होंने कभी अपने लिए महिमा नहीं चाही; बल्कि स्वयं को प्रभु की दासी कहकर पूरी निष्ठा से ईश्वर की इच्छा को स्वीकार किया। इसी विनम्रता के कारण ईश्वर ने उन्हें सभी सृष्टि के बीच उच्च स्थान प्रदान किया।
“Humility and Service”
Matthew 23:1–12 (In the context of the Feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Heaven)
In today's Gospel, Jesus teaches that true greatness is found not in titles, honor, or recognition, but in humility and service. Mary, whom the Church honors as Queen, perfectly embodies this teaching.
She never sought glory for herself; instead, she humbly called herself the servant of the Lord and faithfully embraced God's will. Because of her humility and obedience, God exalted her above all creation.
Mary's queenship is not one of earthly power but of loving service, intercession, and complete union with Christ. Her life reminds us that those who humble themselves will be exalted by God.
As we celebrate her feast today, let us ask for the grace to imitate her humility, so that by serving Christ and others faithfully, we too may share in the joy of His heavenly Kingdom.
