“सबसे बड़ी आज्ञा”
आज के सुसमाचार में फरीसी येसु से पूछते हैं कि व्यवस्था में सबसे बड़ी आज्ञा कौन सी है?
प्रभु येसु उत्तर देते हैं: “अपने प्रभु ईश्वर से अपने पूरे हृदय, अपनी पूरी आत्मा और अपनी पूरी बुद्धि से प्रेम करो। यह पहली और सबसे बड़ी आज्ञा है।”
दूसरी आज्ञा यह है: “अपने पड़ोसी से अपने समान प्रेम करो।”
“The Greatest Commandment”
In today’s Gospel, the Pharisees and Sadducees question Jesus to test Him: “Which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
Jesus replies: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.”
The second is like it: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Both commandments are centered on love — love of God and love of neighbor. God’s love is for everyone. Some know Him deeply and live religiously, while others are far from Him and come to church only occasionally.
The Lord calls us to love God fully and to love our neighbor as ourselves. True faith is shown not only in devotion to God but also in love and respect for others.
