“धनी का ईश्वर के राज्य में प्रवेश”
"धनी का ईश्वर के राज्य में प्रवेश करना बहुत कठिन है।"
आज के सुसमाचार में येसु हमें याद दिलाते हैं कि जिनके पास बहुत धन है, उनके लिए ईश्वर के राज्य में प्रवेश करना कठिन है। क्योंकि वे अपने धन से इतना जुड़ जाते हैं कि ईश्वर को प्राथमिकता नहीं देते।
धनी व्यक्ति दिन-रात धन के बारे में सोचता रहता है, जबकि गरीब व्यक्ति हर क्षण ईश्वर का नाम लेता है। गरीब लोग छोटी-छोटी बातों में भी ईश्वर का शुक्रिया अदा करते हैं, जबकि धनी लोग अक्सर शिकायत करते रहते हैं।
“The Rich and the Kingdom of God”
“It is very difficult for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.”
In today’s Gospel, Jesus teaches that people who possess much wealth often become attached to it. Their hearts are occupied with thoughts of money rather than God.
The rich rarely think of God, while the poor remember Him constantly. When you travel, you see poor people blessing those who help them even a little, whereas the rich often grumble and complain.
The story of the rich man and Lazarus (Luke 16) powerfully illustrates this truth. The poor Lazarus went to heaven, while the rich man ended up in torment.
Wealth itself is not evil, but when it becomes our master, it blinds us to God and to the needs of others. Let us pray for the grace to live simply, share generously, and keep God first in our lives.
