“सेवा में महानता”
आज के सुसमाचार में प्रभु येसु हमें सिखाते हैं कि हमें नम्र होकर दूसरों की सेवा करनी चाहिए। वे हमें बताते हैं कि उनके सच्चे अनुयायी वही हैं जो प्रेम और दया के साथ दूसरों की सहायता करते हैं। ईश्वर के राज्य में महानता पद, शक्ति या सम्मान से नहीं, बल्कि सेवा और प्रेम से मापी जाती है।
येसु ने स्वयं इसका उदाहरण प्रस्तुत किया जब उन्होंने अपने शिष्यों के पैर धोए। यह कार्य सामान्यतः सेवक किया करते थे, परन्तु प्रभु ने इसे करके दिखाया कि सच्चा नेतृत्व सेवा में है। उन्होंने अपने जीवन द्वारा यह सिखाया कि जो सबसे बड़ा बनना चाहता है, उसे सबसे छोटा और सबसे सेवक बनना होगा।
येसु यह भी कहते हैं कि यदि हम उनके वचनों को सुनते हैं और उनके मार्ग पर चलते हैं, तो हम धन्य होंगे। उनका अनुसरण करना केवल शब्दों में विश्वास करना नहीं, बल्कि अपने जीवन में प्रेम, नम्रता और सेवा को अपनाना है। जब हम दूसरों की भलाई के लिए कार्य करते हैं, तब हम वास्तव में प्रभु की उपस्थिति को संसार में प्रकट करते हैं।
यह सुसमाचार हमें आत्म-परीक्षण करने के लिए बुलाता है। क्या हम अपने परिवार, समुदाय और समाज में दूसरों की सेवा करने के लिए तैयार हैं? क्या हम क्षमा करने, सहायता देने और प्रेम दिखाने में उदार हैं? प्रभु हमें आमंत्रित करते हैं कि हम अपने छोटे-छोटे कार्यों द्वारा उनके प्रेम के साधन बनें।
आइए हम प्रार्थना करें कि प्रभु येसु का प्रेम, नम्रता और सेवाभाव हमारे जीवन में बढ़ता रहे। हम उनके सच्चे सेवक बनें और अपने कार्यों द्वारा उनके प्रेम को सब तक पहुँचाएँ। आमेन॥
“Greatness Through Service”
In today’s Gospel, Jesus teaches us that we must humbly serve others. He reminds us that His true followers are those who help others with love and compassion. In God’s Kingdom, greatness is not measured by power, position, or recognition, but by a heart willing to serve.
Jesus Himself gave the perfect example when He washed the feet of His disciples. This was a task usually done by servants, yet the Lord chose to do it Himself. Through this act, He showed that true leadership is found in humble service. Those who wish to be great must learn to serve others with love.
Jesus also tells us that if we listen to His words and follow His way, we will be blessed. Following Christ is not simply believing in Him with our lips, but living His teachings through acts of kindness, mercy, and selfless service. Whenever we care for others, we make His presence visible in the world.
This Gospel invites us to examine our own lives. Are we willing to serve those around us? Do we forgive, help, and show compassion to those in need? The Lord calls us to become instruments of His love through the simple and ordinary actions of everyday life.
Let us pray that the love, humility, and servant-heartedness of Jesus may grow within us each day. May we become His faithful servants and bring His love to everyone we meet. Amen.
