“मेरी भेड़ें मेरी आवाज़ सुनती हैं”
आज के सुसमाचार में प्रभु येसु हमें बताते हैं कि वे और पिता एक हैं। इसका अर्थ है कि येसु में ईश्वर की शक्ति, प्रेम और करुणा पूर्ण रूप से प्रकट होती है। जब येसु स्वयं को “भला गड़ेरिया” कहते हैं, तब वे हमें यह सिखाते हैं कि वे अपने प्रत्येक अनुयायी की कितनी गहराई से चिंता करते हैं और उसकी रक्षा करते हैं।
एक गड़ेरिये का कार्य अपनी भेड़ों को सुरक्षित रखना, उन्हें सही मार्ग पर ले जाना और हर खतरे से बचाना होता है। उसी प्रकार येसु भी हमें जीवन के मार्ग पर चलाते हैं। वे कहते हैं कि उनकी भेड़ें उनकी आवाज़ सुनती हैं और उनका अनुसरण करती हैं। जब हम प्रार्थना करते हैं, पवित्र शास्त्र पढ़ते हैं और उनके वचनों पर मनन करते हैं, तब हम उनकी आवाज़ को पहचानना सीखते हैं।
येसु हमें यह भी आश्वासन देते हैं कि कोई भी उनकी भेड़ों को उनके हाथों से नहीं छीन सकता। जीवन में कठिनाइयाँ, भय, असफलताएँ और चुनौतियाँ अवश्य आती हैं, लेकिन हमें यह याद रखना चाहिए कि हम प्रभु की देखभाल में सुरक्षित हैं। उनका प्रेम कभी समाप्त नहीं होता और वे हमें कभी अकेला नहीं छोड़ते।
प्रभु आगे कहते हैं कि वे अपनी भेड़ों को अनन्त जीवन देते हैं। यह सबसे बड़ा उपहार है जो हमें ईश्वर से प्राप्त होता है। जब हम येसु का अनुसरण करते हैं और उनके प्रेम में बने रहते हैं, तब हम केवल इस संसार के लिए नहीं, बल्कि अनन्त जीवन के लिए भी तैयार होते हैं।
पहले पाठ में हम देखते हैं कि अन्ताकिया में बहुत से लोगों ने प्रभु को स्वीकार किया और पहली बार शिष्यों को “मसीही” कहा गया। उनका जीवन इस बात का साक्ष्य था कि वे वास्तव में प्रभु येसु के अनुयायी हैं। आज हमें भी अपने जीवन द्वारा यह दिखाना है कि हम मसीह के लोग हैं।
आइए आज हम प्रभु येसु का धन्यवाद करें कि वे हमारे भले गड़ेरिया हैं। हम उनकी आवाज़ सुनें, उन पर भरोसा करें और उनके प्रेम में सदैव बने रहें। आमेन॥
“My Sheep Hear My Voice”
In today’s Gospel, Jesus tells us that He and the Father are one. This means that the power, love, and mercy of God are fully revealed in Him. When Jesus calls Himself the “Good Shepherd,” He teaches us how deeply He cares for each one of us and how faithfully He protects us.
A shepherd guides his sheep, keeps them safe, and leads them along the right path. In the same way, Jesus leads us through life. He says that His sheep hear His voice and follow Him. We learn to recognize His voice through prayer, reading Scripture, and reflecting on His Word.
Jesus also assures us that no one can snatch His sheep from His hand. Life may bring difficulties, fears, failures, and uncertainties, but we can remain confident because we are safe in His care. His love never fails, and He never abandons those who trust in Him.
The Lord further promises that He gives eternal life to His sheep. This is the greatest gift we can receive. By following Jesus and remaining in His love, we are prepared not only for this life but also for eternal life with God.
In the first reading, we see that many people in Antioch accepted the Lord, and for the first time the disciples were called Christians. Their lives reflected their faith in Jesus. Today, we too are called to witness to Christ through our words and actions.
Let us thank Jesus, our Good Shepherd, for His constant love and protection. May we always listen to His voice, trust in His guidance, and remain close to Him every day. Amen.
