“भला गड़ेरिया मैं हूँ”
आज के सुसमाचार में प्रभु येसु कहते हैं, “भला गड़ेरिया मैं हूँ।” एक भला गड़ेरिया अपनी भेड़ों की रक्षा करता है, उनकी देखभाल करता है और उनके लिए अपना जीवन तक देने को तैयार रहता है। येसु हमें यह दिखाना चाहते हैं कि उनका प्रेम कितना गहरा है। उन्होंने केवल शब्दों से प्रेम नहीं किया, बल्कि क्रूस पर अपना जीवन अर्पित करके हमें बचाया।
येसु आगे कहते हैं, “मैं अपनी भेड़ों को जानता हूँ और मेरी भेड़ें मुझे जानती हैं।” यह एक बहुत ही व्यक्तिगत और प्रेमपूर्ण संबंध की बात है। प्रभु हममें से प्रत्येक को नाम लेकर जानते हैं। वे हमारी खुशियों, दुखों, संघर्षों और आशाओं को जानते हैं। वे हमारे हृदय की हर बात से परिचित हैं। उसी प्रकार वे चाहते हैं कि हम भी उन्हें जानें, उनके साथ समय बिताएँ, प्रार्थना करें, उनके वचन को पढ़ें और उनके प्रेम में बने रहें।
इस संसार में कई लोग कठिनाइयों के समय साथ छोड़ देते हैं, लेकिन येसु कभी हमें नहीं छोड़ते। जब हम अकेले, निराश या भयभीत होते हैं, तब भी वे हमारे साथ रहते हैं। उनका प्रेम और उपस्थिति हमें शक्ति और आशा प्रदान करती है।
पहले पाठ में हम देखते हैं कि ईश्वर का प्रेम और उद्धार केवल एक समूह तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि सभी लोगों के लिए है। संत पेत्रुस यह समझते हैं कि ईश्वर किसी में भेदभाव नहीं करते। जिस प्रकार भला गड़ेरिया अपनी सभी भेड़ों की चिंता करता है, उसी प्रकार प्रभु सभी को अपने प्रेम में बुलाते हैं।
आज हमें स्वयं से पूछना चाहिए: क्या मैं अपने भले गड़ेरिया की आवाज़ सुनता हूँ? क्या मैं उनके मार्गदर्शन पर भरोसा करता हूँ? क्या मैं उनके प्रेम को अपने जीवन में दूसरों तक पहुँचाता हूँ?
आइए आज हम प्रभु येसु, हमारे भले गड़ेरिया, को धन्यवाद दें और उनसे प्रार्थना करें कि वे हमें अपने प्रेम में बनाए रखें, ताकि हम उनकी आवाज़ सुन सकें और विश्वासपूर्वक उनका अनुसरण कर सकें। आमेन॥
“I Am the Good Shepherd”
In today’s Gospel, Jesus says, “I am the Good Shepherd.” A good shepherd cares for his sheep, protects them, and is willing to lay down his life for them. Through these words, Jesus reveals the depth of His love for us. He did not simply speak about love; He demonstrated it by giving His life on the cross for our salvation.
Jesus also says, “I know my sheep and my sheep know me.” This speaks of a personal and loving relationship. The Lord knows each one of us by name. He knows our joys, struggles, fears, and hopes. Nothing in our lives is hidden from Him. In return, He invites us to know Him through prayer, reading His Word, and remaining close to Him in faith.
Unlike those who run away when difficulties arise, Jesus never abandons us. He remains close to us, especially in times of suffering, loneliness, and uncertainty. His presence gives us strength, comfort, and hope.
In the first reading, Peter comes to understand that God’s love and salvation are meant for all people. God shows no partiality. Just as a good shepherd cares for all his sheep, Jesus invites everyone into His loving care and protection.
Today, we are invited to reflect: Do I listen to the voice of the Good Shepherd? Do I trust His guidance in my life? Do I share His love with those around me?
Let us thank Jesus, our Good Shepherd, and ask Him to keep us close to His heart, so that we may hear His voice, follow Him faithfully, and live in the joy of His love. Amen.
