“जीवन्त रोटी – अनन्त जीवन का वरदान”
आज के सुसमाचार में येसु कहते हैं: “स्वर्ग से उतरी हुई वह जीवन्त रोटी मैं हूँ। यदि कोई वह रोटी खाएगा तो वह सदा जीवित रहेगा।” विश्वास केवल हमारा प्रयास नहीं, बल्कि पिता का वरदान है। वही हमें येसु की ओर खींचते हैं।
हम देखते हैं कि संसार हमें सफलता, धन और सुख जैसी बहुत सी “रोटियाँ” देता है, लेकिन फिर भी हमें सच्ची संतुष्टि नहीं मिलती। केवल येसु ही वह भोजन हैं जो हमारी आत्मा की भूख को तृप्त करते हैं, क्योंकि वे स्वयं को हमें अर्पित करते हैं। येसु अपने आपको स्वर्ग से उतरी जीवन्त रोटी कहते हैं क्योंकि वे हमारे लिए एक साधारण मनुष्य के रूप में आए और हमें वह जीवन प्रदान किया जिसकी हमें सबसे अधिक आवश्यकता है।
जैसे एक माँ अपने बच्चों को केवल भोजन ही नहीं देती, बल्कि अपना प्रेम, त्याग और देखभाल भी देती है, उसी प्रकार येसु भी हमें अपना सम्पूर्ण जीवन देते हैं। पवित्र यूखारिस्त में वे स्वयं को हमें अर्पित करते हैं ताकि हम मृत्यु से न डरें और अनन्त जीवन में प्रवेश करें।
इसलिए प्रश्न यह है: क्या मैं पिता के इस बुलावे को स्वीकार करता हूँ? क्या मैं प्रार्थना, वचन और यूखारिस्त के द्वारा अपने जीवन को येसु से भरता हूँ? यदि हाँ, तो मेरा जीवन भी दूसरों के लिए आशीष और वरदान बन जाना चाहिए।
याद रखें, यदि हम येसु में बने रहते हैं, तो हम वास्तव में कभी नहीं मरते, क्योंकि उन्होंने वचन दिया है: “यदि कोई वह रोटी खाएगा तो वह सदा जीवित रहेगा।” आइए हम उस प्रभु में दृढ़ विश्वास रखें जो हमें अपना शरीर और रक्त प्रदान करते हैं, ताकि हम अनन्त जीवन प्राप्त करें और उनकी कृपा तथा आशीष में बने रहें।
“The Living Bread – Gift of Eternal Life”
In today’s Gospel, Jesus says: “I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever.” Faith is not only our effort but a gift from the Father, who draws us to Jesus.
The world offers us many kinds of “bread” — success, wealth, and comforts — yet they do not truly satisfy. Only Jesus can satisfy the deepest hunger of our hearts because He gives Himself completely to us. He calls Himself the living bread because He came from heaven as a humble man to offer us the life that only God can give.
Like a mother who gives her children not only bread but also her love and sacrifice, Jesus gives us His very self. In the Holy Eucharist, He offers Himself so that we may not fear death but enter into eternal life.
The question for us today is: Do I accept the Father’s call? Do I fill my life with Jesus through prayer, the Word of God, and the Eucharist? If we truly do, then our lives should become a blessing and gift to others.
Remember, if we remain in Jesus, we will never truly die because He promised: “Whoever eats this bread will live forever.” Let us place our trust in the Lord who continually nourishes us with His Body and Blood and leads us to eternal life through His grace and love.
