“पुनर्जीवित प्रभु हमारे साथ चलते हैं”
प्रेरित चरित में हम पाते हैं कि पेत्रुस, जिसने कभी प्रभु येसु का इंकार किया था, अब साहसपूर्वक खड़ा होकर घोषणा करता है, “ईश्वर ने मृत्यु के बन्धन खोलकर उन्हें पुनर्जीवित किया।” पेत्रुस का यह साहस पुनर्जीवित प्रभु से मिलने के अनुभव से आता है।
दूसरे पाठ में संत पेत्रुस हमें याद दिलाते हैं कि हमारा विश्वास नश्वर वस्तुओं पर नहीं, बल्कि मसीह पर आधारित होना चाहिए, जिन्होंने हमारे लिए अपना जीवन अर्पित किया ताकि हम शांति और उद्धार का जीवन प्राप्त कर सकें।
सुसमाचार में हम दो चेलों को एम्माउस के मार्ग पर चलते हुए देखते हैं। वे हाल की घटनाओं पर चर्चा कर रहे थे। उसी समय प्रभु येसु उनके साथ चलने लगे, किन्तु वे उन्हें पहचान नहीं पाए। बाद में जब वे भोजन के लिए बैठे और येसु ने रोटी लेकर धन्यवाद की प्रार्थना की तथा उन्हें दी, तब उनकी आँखें खुल गईं और उन्होंने प्रभु को पहचान लिया।
हमारे जीवन में भी ऐसा कई बार होता है। हम अपनी चिंताओं, विचारों और परेशानियों में इतने उलझ जाते हैं कि प्रभु की उपस्थिति को पहचान नहीं पाते। हम अपने ही विचारों में व्यस्त रहते हैं और यह नहीं देख पाते कि प्रभु हमारे साथ चल रहे हैं।
हमारी जीवन यात्रा भी इन चेलों और पेत्रुस के समान है। कभी हम पेत्रुस की तरह कमजोर पड़ जाते हैं, तो कभी एम्माउस के चेलों की तरह उलझनों में खो जाते हैं। फिर भी पुनर्जीवित प्रभु हमें कभी नहीं छोड़ते। वे हमारे साथ चलते हैं, अपने वचन से हमें बल देते हैं और पवित्र यूखारिस्त में अपने शरीर द्वारा हमें पोषित करते हैं।
आइए हम प्रार्थना करें कि हमारे हृदय और आँखें खुलें, ताकि हम अपने दैनिक जीवन में प्रभु की उपस्थिति को पहचान सकें और उनके साथ विश्वासपूर्वक चल सकें।
“The Risen Lord Walks With Us”
In the Acts of the Apostles, we see Peter, who once denied Jesus, now boldly proclaiming, “God raised Him up, freeing Him from the agony of death.” Peter’s courage comes from his personal encounter with the Risen Lord.
In the second reading, St. Peter reminds us that our faith must not rest on perishable things, but on Christ, who gave His life for us so that we may live in peace and receive the gift of salvation.
In the Gospel, we meet two disciples on the road to Emmaus. As they discussed the recent events, Jesus Himself came and walked with them, yet they did not recognize Him. Later, when He took bread, gave thanks, broke it, and gave it to them, their eyes were opened and they recognized Him.
The same thing often happens in our own lives. We become so occupied with worries, fears, and daily concerns that we fail to recognize the Lord’s presence beside us. We focus on our problems and overlook the One who is walking with us.
Our journey is much like that of Peter and the disciples. Sometimes we are weak like Peter, and at other times confused and distracted like the disciples on the road. Yet the Risen Lord never abandons us. He walks with us, strengthens us through His Word, and nourishes us through His Body in the Eucharist.
Let us pray that our hearts and eyes may be opened to recognize the presence of the Lord in our daily lives and to walk faithfully with Him each day.
