“तूफ़ानों में भी प्रभु हमारे साथ हैं”
प्रारंभिक कलीसिया के जीवन में हम देखते हैं कि जैसे-जैसे समुदाय बढ़ता गया, समस्याएँ भी सामने आईं। कुछ विधवाओं ने शिकायत की कि उन्हें प्रतिदिन की सेवा में अनदेखा किया जा रहा है। प्रेरितों ने इस कठिनाई को नज़रअंदाज़ नहीं किया, बल्कि ध्यान से सुना और दूसरों को भी जिम्मेदारी में सहभागी बनाया। यह केवल भोजन बाँटने का मामला नहीं था, बल्कि गरिमा, न्याय और एक-दूसरे की देखभाल का अवसर था।
इसी प्रकार हमें भी अपने जीवन में अनेक अवसर मिलते हैं जहाँ हम दूसरों के लिए सहारा बन सकते हैं और उनकी जिम्मेदारियों में हाथ बँटा सकते हैं। केवल सांसारिक जीवन में ही नहीं, बल्कि कलीसिया के जीवन में भी हमारी आवश्यकता है, क्योंकि प्रभु ने हमें अपनी सेवा के लिए चुना है।
सुसमाचार में हम देखते हैं कि जब शिष्य समुद्र में आँधी और लहरों से जूझ रहे थे, तब वे भयभीत हो गए। उसी समय प्रभु येसु उनके पास आए और कहा, “मैं हूँ, डरो मत।” उनके शब्दों और उनकी उपस्थिति ने शिष्यों को शांति प्रदान की।
हमारे जीवन में भी अनेक प्रकार की आँधियाँ आती हैं—चिंता, अशांति, अन्याय और असुरक्षा। कभी हम शिष्यों की तरह डरे और थके हुए महसूस करते हैं, तो कभी उन विधवाओं की तरह जिन्हें लगता है कि कोई उनकी ओर ध्यान नहीं देता। लेकिन दोनों ही परिस्थितियों में प्रभु हमारा मार्गदर्शन करते हैं।
जब हम मिलकर जिम्मेदारियाँ बाँटते हैं और दूसरों की भलाई के लिए कार्य करते हैं, तब कोई भी उपेक्षित नहीं रहता। और जब हम जीवन के तूफ़ानों के बीच प्रभु पर भरोसा करते हैं, तब उनकी उपस्थिति हमारे हृदय को शांति और शक्ति से भर देती है।
आइए याद रखें कि हम कभी अकेले नहीं हैं। जहाँ कोई नहीं होता, वहाँ भी ईश्वर हमारे साथ उपस्थित रहते हैं। उन्हीं पर भरोसा करते हुए हम सेवा, विश्वास और प्रेम के मार्ग पर आगे बढ़ें।
“The Lord Is With Us Even in the Storms”
In the early Church, as the community grew, problems also arose. Some widows complained that they were being overlooked in the daily distribution of food. The apostles did not ignore this issue but listened carefully and involved others in sharing the responsibility. It was not merely about distributing food, but about dignity, justice, and caring for one another.
Likewise, we are called to support others and share responsibilities whenever we have the opportunity. Not only in our daily lives but also in the life of the Church, we are needed because the Lord has chosen us to serve.
In the Gospel, we see the disciples struggling against strong winds and waves. Filled with fear, they were trying to cross the sea when Jesus came to them and said, “It is I; do not be afraid.” His words and His presence brought them peace.
Our lives too are often filled with storms—worries, restlessness, injustice, and insecurity. Sometimes we feel tired and frightened like the disciples, and at other times we may feel unnoticed like the widows. Yet in both situations, the Lord shows us the way.
Through His presence and our faith in Him, when we share responsibilities and work for the good of others, no one is left neglected. And when we trust the Lord amidst the storms of life, His presence fills our hearts with peace and strength.
Let us never think that we are alone. Even when no one else seems to be there, God is always with us. Trusting in Him, may we continue to walk in faith, service, and love.
