“ईश्वर की आज्ञा में जीवन का प्रकाश”
आज का वचन हमें एक बहुत ही गहरी सच्चाई की ओर ले जाता है: “मनुष्य की अपेक्षा ईश्वर की आज्ञा का पालन करना कहीं अधिक उचित है।” प्रेरितों के जीवन से हमें यह सीख मिलती है कि विश्वास केवल बोलने की चीज़ नहीं है, बल्कि ईश्वर की सच्चाई में दृढ़ बने रहने और उनकी आज्ञाओं का पालन करने का नाम है। जब कठिनाइयाँ, विरोध और कष्ट हमारे सामने आते हैं, तब भी हमें पीछे नहीं हटना चाहिए, बल्कि साहस के साथ उनका सामना करना चाहिए।
प्रभु येसु स्वयं हमें आश्वासन देते हैं कि जो उन पर विश्वास करता है, उसे अनन्त जीवन प्राप्त होता है। विश्वास केवल बाहरी रूप से मसीह का अनुसरण करना नहीं है, बल्कि ऐसा अनुभव है जो हमारे जीवन की दिशा को बदल देता है। यह हमें सत्य और असत्य, प्रकाश और अंधकार, जीवन और मृत्यु के बीच सही चुनाव करने में सहायता करता है।
हम अपने जीवन को अंधेरे कमरे में रखी एक मोमबत्ती के समान समझ सकते हैं। वह मोमबत्ती देखने में छोटी होती है, परन्तु जब वह जलती है, तो पूरे कमरे को प्रकाश से भर देती है। उसी प्रकार यदि हम येसु में विश्वास और आज्ञाकारिता के साथ जीवन जीते हैं, तो हम भी संसार में प्रकाश बन जाते हैं। सत्य बोलना, प्रेम करना, क्षमा करना और दूसरों की सहायता करना—ये छोटे-छोटे विश्वास के कार्य हमें ईश्वर के निकट बनाए रखते हैं।
येसु का अनुसरण करना आसान नहीं है। इसके लिए साहस, निष्ठा और चुनौतियों से ऊपर उठकर सत्य को चुनने की शक्ति चाहिए। लेकिन जब हम ऐसा करते हैं, तब हमारा जीवन साधारण नहीं रहता। वह विश्वास और सत्य की गवाही बन जाता है, ऐसा जीवन जो संसार को दिखाता है कि ईश्वर जीवित हैं और प्रेम से परिपूर्ण हैं।
“Living in the Light of God’s Obedience”
Today’s Word leads us to a deep truth: it is far better to obey God than man. From the lives of the apostles, we learn that faith is not just a matter of words but of remaining steadfast in God’s truth and keeping His commandments. Even when difficulties, opposition, and suffering come before us, we must not turn back but face them with courage.
Jesus Himself assures us that whoever believes in Him has eternal life. Faith is not merely following Christ outwardly, but it is that faith which transforms the direction of life. It helps us discern rightly between truth and falsehood, light and darkness, life and death.
We can understand our lives like a candle placed in a dark room. Though the candle looks small, when it burns, it fills the entire room with light. If we live in faith and obedience to Jesus, we too will become lights in the world. Our small acts of faith—speaking the truth, loving, forgiving, and helping others—keep us always in God.
Following Jesus is not easy. It requires courage, faithfulness, and strength to rise above challenges and choose God’s truth. But when we do, our lives are no longer ordinary; they become testimonies of truth and faith, showing the world that God is alive and full of love.
