“ईश्वर की दिव्य दया में जीवित आशा”
आज हम ईश्वर की दिव्य दया का रविवार मना रहे हैं। प्रभु येसु संत फ़ॉस्टिना को प्रकट होकर कहते हैं, “मानवता का अंतिम आश्रय मेरी दया है।” आज के पाठ हमें इसी सत्य की ओर ले जाते हैं कि ईश्वर की दया, जो प्रभु येसु के पुनरुत्थान में प्रकट हुई, वही हमारे विश्वास और जीवन की नींव है।
पहले पाठ में हम प्रारम्भिक कलीसिया को देखते हैं, जो “प्रेरितों की शिक्षा, भाईचारे, यूखारिस्त और प्रार्थना” में दृढ़ बनी रहती थी। उन्होंने प्रभु की दया का अनुभव किया और उसी के कारण वे अपना सब कुछ एक-दूसरे के साथ बाँटते थे। यह दया केवल विचार नहीं, बल्कि जीवन जीने का तरीका थी।
दूसरे पाठ में संत पेत्रुस कहते हैं कि ईश्वर ने अपनी महती दया से हमें जीवन्त आशा दी है। यह दया केवल पापों की क्षमा नहीं, बल्कि नया जीवन और नया जन्म देती है। इसलिए हमारी आशा सच्ची और जीवित है।
सुसमाचार में प्रभु येसु डरे हुए शिष्यों के बीच आकर कहते हैं, “तुम्हें शांति मिले।” वे अपने घाव दिखाते हैं। ये घाव दया के चिन्ह हैं, जिनसे हमें क्षमा और उद्धार मिला है। वे शिष्यों को पापों को क्षमा करने का अधिकार भी देते हैं।
संत थोमस का अनुभव हमें सिखाता है कि प्रभु की दया हमारे विश्वास को गहरा करती है। संदेह से विश्वास तक की उनकी यात्रा हमें यह भरोसा देती है कि प्रभु हमारी कमजोरियों को जानते हैं और अपनी दया से हमें अपने निकट बुलाते हैं।
आइए हम प्रार्थना करें कि हम प्रभु की दया का अनुभव करें, उसकी शक्ति से अपने जीवन को नवीकृत करें और अपने व्यवहार, क्षमा तथा प्रेम के द्वारा दूसरों तक उसकी दया पहुँचाएँ।
“हे दयालु प्रभु, हम आप पर भरोसा रखते हैं।”
“Living Hope in the Mercy of God”
Today we celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday. The Lord Jesus appeared to Saint Faustina and said, “The final refuge of humanity is My mercy.” Today’s readings lead us to the same truth that the mercy of God, revealed in the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, is the foundation of our faith and our life.
In the first reading, we see the early Church, which remained devoted to the teaching of the apostles, fellowship, the Eucharist, and prayer. They experienced the Lord’s mercy, and because of this, they shared everything with one another according to their needs. This mercy was not just an idea, but a way of life.
In the second reading, Saint Peter tells us that God, in His great mercy, has given us a living hope. This mercy is not only the forgiveness of sins, but also gives us new life and a new birth. Therefore, our hope is real and living.
In the Gospel, the Lord Jesus comes among the fearful disciples and says, “Peace be with you.” He shows them His wounds. These wounds are signs of mercy, through which we have received forgiveness and salvation. He also gives the disciples the authority to forgive sins.
The experience of Saint Thomas teaches us that the Lord’s mercy deepens our faith. His journey from doubt to belief reminds us that God understands our weaknesses and lovingly draws us closer to Himself.
Let us pray that we may experience the Lord’s mercy, allow it to renew our lives, and share it with others through forgiveness, compassion, and love.
