“प्रभु येसु ही हमारे मुक्तिदाता हैं”
आज के पहले पाठ में हम देखते हैं कि पेत्रुस और योहन को बन्दीगृह में डाल दिया गया, क्योंकि वे प्रभु येसु के पुनरुत्थान का प्रचार कर रहे थे। अगले दिन उन्हें महासभा के सामने उपस्थित किया गया और उनसे पूछा गया, “तुम लोगों ने किस सामर्थ्य से या किसके नाम से यह काम किया?”
पेत्रुस पवित्र आत्मा से परिपूर्ण होकर साहसपूर्वक घोषणा करता है कि यह चंगाई किसी मानवीय शक्ति से नहीं, बल्कि ईसा नाज़री के नाम से हुई है। वही येसु जिन्हें लोगों ने अस्वीकार किया और क्रूस पर चढ़ाया, ईश्वर ने उन्हें मृतकों में से जीवित कर दिया।
पेत्रुस आगे कहता है, “किसी दूसरे से मुक्ति नहीं मिल सकती; क्योंकि समस्त संसार में ईसा के नाम के सिवा मनुष्यों को कोई दूसरा नाम नहीं दिया गया है, जिसके द्वारा हमें मुक्ति मिल सकती है।” यह वचन हमें स्मरण दिलाता है कि केवल प्रभु येसु ही हमारे सच्चे मुक्तिदाता और उद्धारकर्ता हैं।
सुसमाचार में हम देखते हैं कि शिष्य पूरी रात मेहनत करते हैं, फिर भी उन्हें एक भी मछली नहीं मिलती। सुबह प्रभु येसु किनारे पर खड़े होकर उनसे कहते हैं, “जाल को नाव के दाहिने ओर डालो।” जब वे उनकी आज्ञा का पालन करते हैं, तो उन्हें इतनी अधिक मछलियाँ मिलती हैं कि जाल भर जाता है।
यह घटना हमें सिखाती है कि केवल अपनी शक्ति और बुद्धि पर निर्भर रहने से हम अक्सर निराश हो जाते हैं। परन्तु जब हम प्रभु की वाणी सुनते हैं और उनकी इच्छा के अनुसार कार्य करते हैं, तब हमारे प्रयास फलदायी बन जाते हैं।
दोनों पाठ हमें एक ही सत्य की ओर ले जाते हैं—प्रभु येसु ही हमारे मुक्तिदाता हैं। जब हम पाप में गिरते हैं, वही हमें क्षमा देते हैं; जब हम असफल होते हैं, वही हमें नई शुरुआत देते हैं; और जब हम थक जाते हैं, वही हमें बल, आशा और शांति प्रदान करते हैं।
आइए हम अपने जीवन को प्रभु येसु के हाथों में सौंप दें, उनकी वाणी पर विश्वास करें और उनके मार्गदर्शन में चलें। तब हमारा जीवन सचमुच फलदायी बनेगा और हम उनके प्रेम तथा अनुग्रह के साक्षी बन सकेंगे।

“Jesus Alone Is Our Savior”
In today’s first reading, Peter and John are imprisoned because they boldly proclaim the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. The next day they are brought before the council and asked, “By what power or by what name have you done this?”
Filled with the Holy Spirit, Peter courageously declares that the healing was accomplished not by human power, but in the name of Jesus of Nazareth. The very Jesus who was rejected and crucified has been raised from the dead by God.
Peter then proclaims one of the central truths of our faith: “Salvation is found in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” This reminds us that Jesus alone is our Savior and Redeemer.
In the Gospel, the disciples work hard throughout the night but catch nothing. At daybreak, Jesus stands on the shore and instructs them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat.” When they obey His word, they catch a great number of fish.
This event teaches us that our efforts remain incomplete when we rely only on our own strength and wisdom. However, when we listen to the Lord and follow His guidance, our work becomes fruitful and blessed.
Both readings point us toward the same truth: Jesus alone is our Savior. When we fall into sin, He offers forgiveness. When we experience failure, He grants us a new beginning. When we are weary and discouraged, He fills us with strength, hope, and peace.
Let us place our lives completely in the hands of the Lord Jesus. May we trust His word, follow His guidance, and allow Him to lead us. Then our lives will bear abundant fruit, and we will become joyful witnesses of His saving love.
